Six Of the Best

Here are my six in no particular order.

"Tinker Taylor, Schoolgirl Cry" By Kephren (Mf)

I highly recommend this one for readers who enjoy a 'school theme' corporal punishment story. What sets this one apart is the take-down of a sassy, self-assured blue jean-clad student by a new administrator who takes no guff.

"I Saw Mommy Spanking Santa Clause," by Elorac (FM)

Anyone who has not heard this song is in for a real treat. I play it multiple times around the holidays and sing along with the music. It's quite professional and the lyrics are catchy. You might hum it at work

Horrible Aunt Harriet and The Telephone Fart, by Flopsybunny (F/m)

The humor filled antics that are described and play out in all the Aunt Harriet stories are marvelous. However, this one stands apart in a slice of life clever prose that hits the funny bone.

"College Memories" By Canadian Spankee (FM)

What makes this a fine story is the fantasy button it pushes for the reader. The plot plays out in a college where spankings are given to a member of the opposite sex within the parameters of the existing school rules.

"Charlotte Church Hits The High Note" by edb (F-f)

This story hit a high note for me. It really paints a picture of a singing star that needs a comeuppance. It's a great mother and daughter story with a hairbrush playing the starring role.

"Jeans Down For Heidi's Hiney," by Cherry Red. (Mf)

This one is a bit of self-promotion. It's about a self-assured 'good girl' who has gone bad and cooked the books. The clever woman notices the accountant's interest in her panty lines and tries to wiggle her way out of trouble.

I think I was the person who asked Edb to write the Charlotte Church story for Bared Affair way back when.

Alef:
This, of course, only applies to the Swedes who either murdered their kings or chose kings who were unable to reproduce, and hence had to import one of Napoleon's generals to remain a monarchy. In Norwegian, a window is still called "vindue" or in a variant spelling "vindauge" (vind=wind and auge=eye").

Did I read somewhere that the same Napoleonic general bore an embarrassing tattoo saying 'Death to all Kings' (or something similar) that he had got inscribed in his republican days?

Looks like that subtheme has played out. how about "6 of the best" set in a sci-fi or fantasy environment. the "fantasy' could be either epic fantasy or thud and blunder (conan the barbarian - style) fantasy

@rachelredbum
I trust that Glagla will, sooner or later, honor his commitment to respond to "Round 2" with the "Humor" theme. I plan to be submitting my own response to the "humor" round as well, and haven't given up totally on one or more others participating in the round.

I had other plans for "Round 3," but will put them on hold for a later round, substituting instead your suggestion for "sci-fi and fantasy" as the next round. Although I'll wait a few days before announcing it officially, anyone who wants to plan ahead and start thinking about sci-fi and fantasy suggestions.

Note: I see that you (rachelredbum) have not yet participated in Round 1, which in no way precludes Sc--fi or fantasy suggestions. If you have a lot such stories among your favorites list, feel free to include some of them on a initial round-one list of suggestions, while retaining some for when Round 3 is announced.

Here is my late Round One list:

Here is my entry for Round 1

Phoenix Girls' School, by Daria Little. She has Pride of Place on my lists. She was the first spanking author I read whose stories were more than just "first this happened and then that happened and then s spanking happened and then sex happened." This involves inmates at a reform school / juvenile jail for girls where spankings of various levels of severity are part of the regimen. 10 parts and slightly under 33,000 words.

The Last Saundermann, by Jaymac. 23 parts and over 70,000 words in total. It combines well written historical fiction with complex characters with spankings of various kinds. It is not the only historical fiction this author wrote. Too bad he is no longer active here.

Haunted and Spanked by Dr Keate. He has written so many stories and so many of them are brilliant . it is hard to single out just one. I picked this one because it shows some of his talents in an economical fashion. It is a ghost story involving a generational curse that the heroine manages to break.

Judicial Snafu by Jefesse. First of all, this is not about a snafu but a FUBAR!! Seriously though it illustrates some of the problems that would arise if judicial corporal punishment was the norm. First you would have "computer errors" like the one in the story. Also there would be petty recidivists who would commit crimes just to get punished. Also there would be who would derive a thrill from giving the spankings to their captive audience!

Chloe and the Flying Saucer, by Cindy2. One of several amusing little stories by this author.

Underground Frailroad. I think this is my best story although Elorac does spoil the plot twist in her summary (BAD GIRL!!). Marsha gets a caning as a form of cleansing and catharsis but theres much more to it. Its slightly over 5,000 words and the spanking doesn't take place until about 3500 words into it!

Six; That Do It With Humor

"With The Teacher's Panties Down" By Bendover (F/ff)
This one's humorous because the teacher is spanked for smoking 'pot.' with the schoolgirls. However, if she had done the same thing in the privacy of own home there would have been no cause for her spanking.

"A Brief Phone Call" By Goodgulf (MF)
A beau calls his girl named, Shelly and threatens the maximum spanking if she isn't dressed and ready for her punishment when he gets home. However, it turns out he dialed a wrong number. When the receiver of the call deletes the number it assures Shelly will get the maximum. (Diabolical Humor)

"Extra Panties For A Paddling" By Christian0539
This one is entertaining and quite humorous. Here a girl schemes to wear extra panties to cut down on the sting of a spanking. It's a classic, slice of life popularized by myths in real life households.

"A Talk With Julie" By otkgirl (F/F) It's about an adult daughter away at school who is in need of a stern visit. Her visitor orders her in her to put on her schoolgirl uniform before her spanking. The humor in this one is saved for the end. This story delivers on a twist that takes the cake!

"The Old Fart & The Teenybopper" By JGH57 (MF)
The beauty of this one is when the teen girl calls a guy out for being an 'old fart.' He capriciously in jest suggested she needs a spanking and she surprisingly agrees to take one.

"Cupid Strikes Gwyn" By Cherry Red (MF) (FF)
And, lastly I submit one of mine. It's a serial where a 'slap stick' prank on one of the characters played for humor leads to a longer long-term loving relationship in the end that prominently features spanking.

I'd better get my first selection in!

1) The New Old-fashioned Girl by John Benson (F/f)

John is a prodigious writer and one of his favourite themes is that of young women's burgeoning sexuality being intermingled with guilt and a desire to be spanked. This short but clever piece is a good introduction.

2) With Every Punishment Comes A Reward by Gail (F/F)

A woman has a desire to be caned but her appointment is strangely unfulfilling. However it opens up a whole world of new experience for her. This was featured in an LSF collection and I considered it one of the best and most original in the book.

3) Bottom of The Class by Ruegirl (MFmf/f)

Cheating at school deserves a spanking, and when it affects other pupils even more so. However the girl's mother bustles in and challenges the headmaster ... a very clever and witty use of multiple implements, multiple spankers and poetic justice.

4) A Caning For Amanda by Flopsybunny (M/F)

Probably the only story I have read where a woman dons hiking boots in preparation for a well-deserved caning, but this is Flopsy country, a well-described patch of Northern England and the characters who inhabit it. The "poetry" demands a caning all in itself but the story is original and great fun.

5) Jam by opb (F/F)

You can have jam yesterday, jam tomorrow but never jam today, according to Lewis Carroll and opb. However spankos can see a resolution to this conundrum and many others, which involves bared bottoms and firm spanking thereof, but is there a catch?

6) Suzie And The Strap by Mike From London (F/f)

Mike is one of the best writers of authentic UK school stories, and for people who enjoy a detailed description of what a severe school punishment entailed this is excellent.

My Round 1 selection was extremely difficult to choose and perhaps rather boring because although I enjoy the work of many authors not on this list, my absolute favourite stories and serials are all rather similar and predominantly M/F.
I am just listing them in the order I found when perusing my favourites.
Anyway, here they are: in format Author, title, #words/Serial, Orientation, v brief description

Ryan Rowland, Nice Guys Finish Last, 1562, M/F, Pizza guy not paid.

Geoffrey Stirling, Uncle John, Serial, M/F, Jennifer and her 'uncle' John develop a relationship.

Patxi, Military Strictness, Serial, M/F, Indian nurse in UK finds that spankings boost her confidence.

Susan Thomas, Twelve Words, 5985, M/F, A modern arranged marriage. {strange that title being one of her longer single stories).

Phil K, First Date, 3703, MM/F (or is it Mm/f ? I like to think the former), Kelly is an accommodating date.

Alex Birch, The Thief, 503(a story not a Poem), M/F, Old man catches thief - or does he?

Thanks to everyone who has participated thus far in this Challenge and encouragement to anyone who hasn't!). I've read a fair number of the recommendations thus far, with others placed on my reading list for when I get some time.

Here's my Round 2 list (with not merely 3 but ALL SIX following the theme of "Humor"):

Alcatraz for Girls by Malahide (M/F, 1,003) A spank-happy tourist in San Francisco takes charge of a movie shoot at Alcatraz in the absence of the real director, much to the chagrin of the leading lady. (this story also has a very well-narrated audio version)

Desperately Spanking Susan by CrimsonKid (M/F, 496) Having dozed off while watching "Desperately Seeking Susan" on the TV, Ichabod Irving awakes to find Madonna in his living room.

Freaks by Janine (M/F, 2,874) A mysterious stranger appears at a weekly meeting of Kinks Anonymous... but who are the real freaks?

Phantom Spanker by Februs (poem, M/F, 455) An unknown spankophile terrorizes the unprotected bums of a village's lady-folk. (Who knew Februs could write? Those of us who read and voted upon the Poetry Challenge entries certainly did.)

Everyone Spanks Lisa by Cal33 (M/F, 2,387) Believing that his client has a seriously overactive imagination, Lisa's therapist does some investigating with the goal of disproving her fantasy that everyone spanks her. He receives some surprising information and advise from a celebrity.

and finally, in the spirit of the season:

A Kilahara Christmas Carol by J. Wackford Colton (f/m, M/F, M/m) The true story of a Christmas Eve visitation to one Ebeneezer Scrooge is told, and how it relates to the survival of a certain Library.

Enjoy some chuckles!
