In the series ending, Wesley remarks to Fred/Illeria something like "why don't I nip off to Ms.Spanksalot for a few moments dalliance?" to a Fred/Illeria who replies "...Ms. who?"

Yeah, I figure the writers, if not Joss himself, on both sets were spankophiles, big time. Being Joss is purportedly a femminist, with dire hate for male dominance, when men either brag or overtly suggest giving women a spanking (ie the birthday spanking, and Spanky (who hints at spanking women)), they get put in their place, but when women talk about getting spanked by women (lesbian Willow), women spanking men, (ie Buffy saying Reilly was going to get disciplined for eating junk food, or 'xander and Anyanka trying spanking (note when Anyanka energetically admits this, she doesn't say who spanks who, and by 'xanders reaction, and Joss' predilictions, I'd guess it was 'xander on the bottom), is okay.

unfortunately, PAL, i dont like advertising other websites, whether for COMIX or stories. i also will neither confirm nor deny that a comic there about a certain wayward mermaid with a penchant for spankings was written by me.

please note there are only about three or four buffy comics there. not as many as "all"

Lucy Beaumont and her husband, comedian John Richardson do a mocumentary about their family life. Lucy is forever teasing John in it. A good bare bottom spanking is well overdue.

Another thread about Yahoo groups reminded me that there were a couple Yahoo groups, celebspunishef and celebritiespunishef, devoted to spankings and other punishmenrs for all sorts of celebrities, pop stars, TV show stars, and so on, all female as I recall.
As we know, Yahoo groups are gone and I have no idea if this material could be found on the Wayback Machine or something. I think one of the contributors migrated to ipunishment where he is posting a lot of photoshopped stuff with spankings, not so much celebrities though.
Discussion here about spanking on Buffy the Vampire Slayer calls to mind that these groups had hundreds of Buffy spankings, among other Tv shows.
Recall also lots of Britney Spears,and WWE divas. Also there was a group called Spankingise(for spanking in, sports entertainment), that had tons of spankings of women wrestlers, both well known stars, and less known.

Really interesting thread. I too remember the old Order of the Burning Bottom from Janus Magazine and recently set up a twitter account to attempt to resurrect the idea.
