Yes, i was sad to see them fade and disappear...weirdo that i am! lol. But deep bruising isnt really my 'thing'....i am much happier with an otk hand spanking. I also think the state of my bottom shocked 'sir'....he never wanted to cane me again.

I currently feel that there can't ever be a definitive comparison between the pain delivered by the more severe implements of corporal punishment. Though I admit that I didn't always feel that way, and I may change my views in the future.

I have seen interviews and discussions of the pain from the cane and from the large wooden paddle on sites such as Realspankings and Firm Hand. From those I have seen US spankees say that the paddle is more painful than the cane and UK spankees say that they 'prefer the cane to the paddle'.

It seems to me that the two can't be easily compared because they are at somewhat opposite ends of the spectrum, at least for wooden implements. Also there are the problems of the skill of the spanker and the starting state of the spankkee's bottom.

Like Smartful, I don't wish to see blood or other indication of what I would consider extreme punishment. But within this boundary I find cane lines more attractive that the white and purple target markings from the large wooden paddle. As a heterosexual British woman, I far prefer the soft touch of a hand on my bare bottom than anything else.

I am however not adverse to the use of a plimsoll (slipper) occasionally, especially is we are playing school girl and headmaster - either over his knee or bending over the back a straight back chair.
