Any Significance to your Pen Name or Nym?

My pen name is easy; I live on an island, and my middle name is Carol. Islandcarol sounds better than Islandsusan. We may be moving soon, but I will always remain Islandcarol.

I read Atlas Shrugged and I wondered if you relate to her philosophies..

As a teenager, I passed through a period where I was fascinated by the concept of superheroes. Note that this was in a country without such tradition. Eventually, I dreamt a whole gamut of these people, and one of them was a electricity-based man named Fulgur, which is "lightning" in Latin. Some years later, when I started to write, I adopted that name for myself.
Note that if anything, this is LESS weird than my real name.

When I was asked to include one of my stories in the LSF spanking anthology, I picked an author name the same way I would pick a name for a character in a story. (In this case the 'character' is someone who writes stories about spanking.) I wanted something that sounded dignified and (to remain anonymous) was unrelated to my real name. I went through a list of names and picked something with alliteration that I liked. There is a 'Ryan' in a couple of my stories, and I thought it sounded like someone I could envision wielding a paddle or cane.

Actually I don't like my username and it comes out of my totally unimaginativeness when I first joined a Danish yahoo group on spanking: 'amads49' – 49 because I was not the first 'amads'!

'amads' was the initial of my first name 'a' followed by the start of my last name 'Madsen'. A few years later some other members called me 'Mads', which happens to be a first name in my country. For some time I felt that was ok and it was the start of my last name; so when I later joined BL I did choose 'Mads' as username.

But now I'm envious of all you with genius usernames Mads! - How boring!

I created my author name by taking the first three letters of each of my names (Ken Rob Mac), and reversing them to make Cambornek. The 'Sir' got added to make clear I'm male, and because I thought 'Sir Cambornek' had a nice Arthurian ring to it - I can imagine Cambornek as a small kingdom adjoining Camelot...!

Now I'm confused: there's is neither cambornek nor camborneksir on the list of authors...and you wrote under the name of myrkassi, not to be found anywhere (not even on the list of members)

I believe it's 'Sir Cambornek.' I would have been interested to know the meaning behind the member name 'myrkassi' as well.
