Would you really go back to school?

Similar to comments some others have offered, I disliked high school more than a little. Some of the teachers were unnecessarily cruel (verbally) and some of the kids bullies. College was a different world entirely, and I enjoyed it and benefited from it much.

There was no corporal punishment at my high school (this was in the late 1960s), but there was a spanking administered now and then at my elementary school (late 1950s, early 1960s). I was never spanked in school but was twice threatened, which scared me to death both times. The first involved the principal when I was in 1st grade (age 6). The second was when I was in junior high school, age 11 or 12. A gym teacher threatened to spank me in front of the class. Ten seconds later he announced to the class it was a joke, but that was a bad 10 seconds.

I grew up in the USA, and went to a Catholic high school, if I could go back then, I think I might, mainly because school before high school was horrible, the teachers didn't understand me, and did nothing to challenge me from an academic stand point, the teachers I had in high school seemed to understand me as a student and a person, and some even enjoyed when I questioned and challenged them on what they were teaching. The teacher I got into it the most with was my History teacher and he actually made sure I got the award for the most outstanding History student, because he said I "understood history more then any student he had ever taught in his teaching career."

I don't know if my high school had a policy banning CP, but they did hint students could be paddled, but I never knew anyone who was.

I loved my primary school, even though I think I was the only boy slippered in front of the class, despite being top boy in the class (it was for distracting my neighbour when I was bored and had finished my arithmetic.)
Who wouldn't want to rellve an almost idyllic early childhood, and see one's parents again?
Nothing on God's earth would get me back to the first five years of grammar school, but I'd quite like to return to the sixth form and do economics instead of science.
I never got the cane, would I be brave enough to try it, probably not as I would hate to be so humiliated rather than the pain which I would survive.

As my life fell apart after I graduated, I'd have to give a hard yes to this. It's only been the last 3 years where my life has just about become liveable.

I had a good experience in Kindergarten in Stamford, Connecticutt. My Kindergarten teacher, who as I recall was an attractive, tall, slender young woman (brunette probably) - this kind woman asked me, on my sixth birthday (this was in April 1960) whether I would like "a birthday kiss or a birthday spanking?" When she uttered the magic word "spanking", I suddenly noticed a funny feeling between my legs.

I did not know what it was, but it felt good! I was afraid that I was going to pee in my pants. But, of course, I was experiencing sexual arousal for the first time in my life that I can remember. So that Kindergarten teacher (who was only joking of course) enabled me to discover my kink for the very first time!

I actually think though that had I gone to the type of all boys school where canings were a daily ritual I would have accepted it as part of life and not felt humiliation. Whereas at the co-ed school I went to the thought of getting caned and the girls knowing was very humiliating.

I was at school in the late 60s to early 70s, and I didn't enjoy it, being an unfashionable, unpopular sort of child.
Only got bullied in junior school (up to '72), I didn't notice any in secondary. Technical college which I attended from 16-18 was much better as we were treated as adults, but this was inevitable as many of the students were in their 20s and 30s.

CP was falling out of favour at that time, it was used in junior school, the headmaster had an American sytle paddle which he used for it, I didn't know that it was a transatlantic thing until I joined the online spanko community decades later. I experienced it once, for making a messy piece of work. The spanking part of it was completely painless, but I do remember the embarrassment of having it happen, and what affected me far more was the Head telling me that I had to come back to school early from lunch to repeat the work (fiar enough) and that I should lie to my Mum about the reason. I didn't understand why he said this, and it was the most memorable part of the incident.
In secondary school there was a rumour that one lad (the most aggressive and disruptive, of course) had been caned for asaulting a teacher, but that was the only incident in 4 years.

So would I go back? Not as I was then, of course. I very much enjoy the school story, both spanko and vanilla, I think because school is an enclosed society where there are a whole range of power imbalances, giving rise to plenty of opportunity for drama. If there is the possibility for a well smacked bottom on the way, so much the better.
