This is my 2nd post to this thread, but another major author has NOT been mentioned (at least I believe he has not been mentioned). Now several have mentioned Janus and Blue Moon, but a big contributor to both was Richard Manton.

Am I the only one who appreciated his work?

Tiredny

Right after my post, I remembered another author who I believe has been overlooked. Specifically, I am referring to Stephen Rawlings aka Stephen Drukker.

Anyone else appreciate his works?

There are and were just so many good writers of spanking fiction out there. I'm happy to see more and more women have also decided to try their hand.

Having to hunt for spanking material and buy it secretly gave a thrill which today's generation, who can easily download not only books and magazines, but videos as well must miss out on.

There is something to be said for that. As a child and a youth I found spanking references and material wherever I could, most of those sources having been mentioned throughout this thread. Very little gratification back then was instant, so many of those sources were priceless treasures when acquired. I don't feel that the times were better or worse, merely different. There are times, though, when a resource like LSF can be almost overwhelming, with the plethora of material available.

For the most part my distaff counterpart and I ambled along in our own private little spanko relationship, writing stories for each other and keeping ourselves behind closed doors. In the 90's she found that there were people who put stories on the internet, and we were like kids in a candy store. I remember Castle Handyman, Pablo and Mija's Treehouse (or maybe Playhouse?), and Laura's Spanking Corner as the first places we discovered. Being a big fan of sci-fi, I became and equally big fan of Lurking Dragon's Rejuve Universe, and I recall some very good stories from Ginger in futuristic settings. I also recall Pablo, Corporal, and Rollin Hand authoring some stories that resonated back then in other settings.

There were many more, and I have no wish to offend anyone by leaving them out. There were also many very good stories I remember reading that were not credited. I know since joining LSF I did find one of those stories here in the library, and I was finally able to put an author's name to it. Sadly, I'm afraid that there are many good stories from back then that are probably lost forever.

In terms of spanking fiction, would have to be when I discovered CF Publications back in the late 1980s. Author I especially liked were ZZ and Chuck.
Of course before that there were the letters in Mr. and similar publications, but while they may have been fictitious were not strictly speaking spanking stories.

My very first taste of spanking literature was the occasional spanking letter in (I believe) Penthouse magazine. But then one day, to my delight, some friends and I stumbled onto a sleazy bookstore in New York city. I bought two or three amateurishly published examples of spanko fiction whilst my friends were occupied ogling the many overpriced titty and crotch shot magazines on offer. By the time they noticed I wasn't among them, my purchases were safely hidden away in a plain brown paper bag.

They later asked to see what I had purchased, but I wouldn't show them. I wonder how long it took for my blush to go away? I kept those little books for several years, and only disposed them when the first female finally took up residence with me. After all, it wouldn't do to have one's darkest secret discovered, would it?

I first started reading F E Campbell's books. I just looked it up. Sribd has a free download of his book Fetters Are Forever. It is about enslaved pony girls. Seems more bondage and pony girls than spanking but I think it will be covered.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/170584670/F-E-Campbell-Fetters-Are-Forever-HIT-180#scribd They offer a free read for the first book But $8.99 a month fee to read any book on their site. I am not being paid to advertize them. I research and find things all day long.

I also remember reading Will Harding or at least I think that was his name.

I went back to Google and did this search

f e campbell books + scribd

I found a few books by Campbell with a free download offer.

You might try one with a more suitable title related more to spanking rather than bondage and pony girls.

Richard Manton's work was partly the inspirations for my story "The Magistrate".

It was a long time ago (in the late 1990 and the beginning of the 2000 years).

I don't remember all the names, only some: Sternmaster, Kephren

Then some others like Quillis, Tluv, Flogmaster, Wulfram (yes some of them have copies of their stories here, thanks!)
