rollin:
If there's an inner circle, I'm not a member,

I think the meaning of 'inner circle' here is members who do at least one or two of the following things: comment on stories, enter the chat room, comment on the forum, reply to comments left on their stories etc.... it isn't any kind of inclusive or exclusive club And therefore Rollin, by that account, you are indeed a very honourable member.

Alef:
I have a suspicion that the inner circle here consists of those who never got to hang with the cool kids in high school.

Well it is so much more fun hanging out will the cool people in the spanking library.... right? hehe

Hey, what about write, jools? I think our writers belong in a circle of some kind, but we're not at all exclusive here at the LSF.

And I'm pretty sure that the founding member of the inner circle is LSF bot ... or was in njrick since he started this thread????

Dammit, I have told you you are brilliant!

The little smiley made me think "Head bangers of the world UNITE!" But then, I am old and love Heavy Metal. . . (and Bach.)

Thanks, njrick, for that informative and well structured inner-circle-manual! I'll be working on it.

Though it all became quite complicated; can members define themselves as members, or are they defined by their actions? Are the members cool, or are they rather defined by the fact that they never were? And is there indeed a circle?

I'm looking forward to finding out once I can check off "just" four or five of the seven-easy-steps!

Most definitely!

karoicanada:

Yes!!!

karoicanada:
And is there indeed a circle?

Of course! CS has taken care of that.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions to help clarify things.

Thank you, can't imagine what could be unclear after those unambiguous answers!

Oh, wait, just one thing: who is CS?

The esteemed candianspankee - commenter extraordinaire, author, frequent poster to this forum, and coiner of of the Library motto. Also the scalawag who's trying to collect a fee for membership in said circle. Pay him no mind (or money).

Now I have all sorts of titles but please remember this "scalawag" did offer to give $5 out of every $100 to the Library admins for their crisps and sherry fund. I had no intention of keeping ALL the money to myself and as mentioned early, one can get their name in the "KLSF inner circle," so what more could one want?

Greetings karolcanada! I am your way "into" the "inner circle". Isn't it great to be offered such a chance? I know you agree, so just send me the $100 entry fee and I will place your name in the "inner circle" that I created. (By the way. for those thinking of creating their own circle, I have patents pending, so forget it.)

karolcanada, if you want to be a special member of the "inner circle", please send me an additional $250 and I will italize and bold your name, so you stand out among all the more common "inner circle" members. I know you would want to be a part of this "inner circle" so please send the dollars soon and pay no attention to njrick, he is just jealous that he did not create the "inner circle" first!

@ njrick: Thank you!

@ the CS: Greetings to you too, Mr. Canadian Rapscallion. Thank you, but I think I'll roll up my sleeves and work my way in. Paying my way is really not my style. If it turns out I'm a - how it was put - pain in the arse, I'll reconsider...
