Select Challenges from the Features section of the main LSF menu. Then select the particular challenge you wish to view from the drop-down selector near the top of the page. You should then see a list of the stories entered into the challenge - click the one(s) you want to view.

The current challenge will be available for viewing on the 18th.

Just finished reading all the entries in this Challenge. Slightly fewer than usual, but an impressively high overall standard: none is anything less than well-written, and very few - I was relieved to see - opted for the overused 'grown woman mistaken for schoolgirl' plot. Great work, Challengers!

The story quality has been very high as usual, but what has impressed me about this challenge in particular is some of the endings. From the unexpected ones to the endings that answer all the little question lingering in my mind I've been consistently pleased with the endings in this challenge.

I have not finished reading all the entries. I will do so. At present I find the stories wanting . I am not an author and never will be, I do not have the talent, I like descriptive spanking without waps and yelps and smacks.. Forgive me If too judgemental. I do appreciate all the authors efforts. And I will continue to read. Regards.

Note that this periodic thing we do is called a "Challenge", and not a "Contest". They are a "Challenge" because they force writers to narrow their focus, sometimes in a direction they have never gone before, (or perhaps didn't really wish to go at all). I think these challenges have really helped broaden my writing, and by and large I have enjoyed them.

For me, this Challenge was a bit of a stretch because (in general) I've never found "mistaken identity" spanking stories to be very persuasive. Still, I managed to participate. Like you, when reading and judging the entries for this Challenge I found my scores trending lower than in previous Challenges. Was this batch somehow inferior to previous Challenges? Honestly I doubt it! The difference was probably me , not the actual quality of the writing. But as long as I score each story the same way, then all is fair and good.

That's a totally different subject, but yes I agree. Dialog is great in a spanking scene, as is colorful description. Onomatopoeia has its place because silent spankings are rare indeed, but I prefer it to be used sparingly. In general, I prefer to describe the sounds rather than to imitate them.

I'd agree: mistaken identity stories don't do a lot for me. I generally don't find them at all convincing. Still, I thought I could work a twist on the idea, so I've had a shot at it. As against the previous F/M Challenge, which I'm afraid was so alien to my personal inclinations that there was no way I could participate.

I tend to agree. Even though I've written a couple of stories based on mistaken identity, it tends to be difficult to create a convincing scenario. And plausibility adds a lot to a story for me. The less I have to suspend disbelief to accept the story, the more I can enjoy it.
But some of the stories I've read so far (I still haven't finished.) have been fairly inventive. Believability is a key factor in how I'm scoring the entries, and some I've thought to be quite good. Others however, I am going to score lower (even though the spanking scene might have been well-written) because the circumstances were too hard to accept.
