Februs: Looks like we could be in for a record number of entries here So it looks indeed as if "shorter stories" translated into "more stories." It sure is a good thing that the reader/voters LIKE reading spanking stories.

canadianspankee: I have 4 stories all ready to go on "being short". Weren't you paying attention? The stories are supposed to be on KEYHOLES. It's a KEYHOLE story challenge. Of course, I used an imaginative interpretation by writing about a keyhole SAW. canadianspankee: do I ever have to change things now! Nope. Just leave them EXACTLY as they are. I'm sure you won't be more than somewhat disqualified.

We now have 72 entries, overtopping the previous record of 66 stories (for the 500 word Challenge). Woo-hoo! And we still have 3 1/2 days to go!

It looks like many of us will be needing an extra week of voting time to be able to read them all fairly!!!! Well done to everyone who contributed and is yet to contribute!

barretthunter: I noted from the instructions that this would not necessarily be so with the present challenge - which is just as well, because sticking to the picture (you know what I mean) would have dictated that the spankee was a white female with navy-blue knickers and the implement used was a cane. I'm actually slightly disappointed it's been extended so wide that the keyhole is not a necessary element, as this sort of requirement is part of the challenge to be met. Ahhhh, AFAIK the scope of this Challenge was never "extended," because the illustration featuring the keyhole was always merely a symbolic reference to any kind of clandestinely witnessed spanking... --C.K.

This time around will be waaaay more words but they are at least divided into bite sized chunks and more varied! I reckon it will take more than 2 weeks to read each and every one of them though!
