I just read an internet article on a planned hotel in China that will look like an upside down ping pong paddle. The windows of the rooms will look like the pebble surface of a ping pong paddle and the handle part of the building will serve as an observation deck.

Here's the link to see the picture

Yes there is Spanko in China. I belong to a active Chinese spanking group on Yahoo and I strongly suspect that it is only due to the repressive nature of the political world over there that keeps so many of the sex positive people with their heads down. Just like the Russians; what passes for the communist/capitalist government in Beijing is officially against all fetishes and are rather prudish in all sexual matters.

According to the LSF membership stats, there are at least 8, since we have 8 members from China. Or maybe 7, with the 8th being from the Chinese government assigned here to monitor the activities of the other 7.

I think it's more because they regard table tennis as their favourite sport. However they're called paddles for a reason and they make great spanking implements.

Interesting post, thank you Beth.

I looked at the photo, and... well... does that red structure on the far left - uh - remind anyone else of something else? Or do I just need some corner time?

Have you read GK Chesterton's 'The Man Who Was Thursday', Rick? Could be that all eight have been assigned by the Beijing government to watch each other....

Did you like The Man Who Was Thursday, Phil? I found it one of the more pointless books I've read.
