Is the chat room functional?

I think that philosophical thought goes back to the early 18th century and it seemed an apt response to your comment.

I cannot do a chat at 8:00 PM, Sweden time (Sweden time is one hour later than GMT).

I am however ready and willing to chat in the middle of the night leading up to either Saturday or Sunday. For example: I could chat at 2:00 AM GMT on Saturday and/or Sunday morning. I believe that would be around 7:30 PM, Friday and/or Saturday evening Mountain Time.

Whadya say, Rachelredbum? I can try to be lurking in the chat room at those times next weekand, in case you turn up.

I will be lurking in the chat room in the middle of the night to Saturday morning (around 2:00 or 3:00 AM Saturday the 20th of March, GMT).

It's always mildly disappointing to find the chatroom empty, but the simplest response would be to keep trying.

Its my impression that chatrooms in general are no longer the popular thing they used to be, when the Internet became widespread.
