The Olympics

As one of the few Brazilian members of this forum, I have been able to watch from a privileged position on 25 sports channels all female athletes. Not only beach volley where Brazilian team will play Germans today for gold - Walsh just won bronze as I'm writing this - but also tennis and aquatic sports where polo; synchronized swimming and ornamental jumps give enormous opportunities to bottom - watching sport.

I'm not sure but I always thought (and thought I saw) the female players simply sticking the spare ball into one of the leg openings on their panties or shorts, towards the side or even front of their bodies (a lot of them seem to be like biking shorts or "compression" shorts). I've seen both of the Williams sisters wear those kind of shorts. I'm sure the openings would hold the balls quite snugly...

I agree Rosie. Rugby is a tough game . New to me but very interesting. Tough girls. Another new sport from the Olympics is Womens Hockey. The women are in great shape and beautiful even with mouth pieces, And they have paddles in hand.

Womens hockey, new? They've been playing it in schools across the Commonwealth for many years. I think it made it's Olympic debut in the '88 Olympics. Speaking of spankable bottoms, Australia's newest gold medallist, modern pentathlete; Chloe Esposito, certainly has one. Although as one of her best events is pistol shooting I wouldn't be likely to tell her so.

Paddles? What kind of hockey are we talking about here?

I've seen the sticks used in Olympics Hockey. If you've seen Ice Hockey, then the Olympics Hockey only look a bit like those sticks - they are much shorter and the blade doesn't look like an ice hockey stick. I could easily see some using one of those field hockey sticks to deliver a spanking.

Well, that explains it. As a good Canadian, I'm sure you're mad for hockey, as are most Canadians, seemingly. A lot of us are too (not me though) and ICE hockey is a very popular sport in both countries. When I hear "hockey" my mind automatically goes to Wayne Gretzky and Gordie Howe. However field hockey and ice hockey are two very different games. Ice hockey is, of course, an Olympic sport, in the Winter games. I should have known that, in the Summer games, it would have to be something else. Having said that, I suppose one could use a field hockey stick to deliver a spanking, but it would be rather unwieldy. Really not what I would describe as a "paddle" though, though I suppose you could use it as one. Perhaps by the coaches after a less than satisfactory game to "encourage" some of the less enthusiastic players...
