Another sport very popular in Commonwealth schools and played mostly by girls was rounders, and that uses a small bat that is very much like a thick solid paddle. In fact I knew a girl who had a teacher that used to spank his students bottoms with a rounders bat.

After watching the games, and seeing the women sweat buckets, running through a rain forest.just to bat a ball . You have all my respect and admiration.

Much like a "miniature" cricket bat, if I'm not mistaken, right? Would likely make a very formidable instrument of correction, especially on the bare...
