What are your pet peeves in a spanking video ?

I will list several of mine:

1. Plastic hairbrush used in film. For god sakes if you are going to spend money making a spanking film use a wooden hairbrush.
2. Leather paddle. Same as number one.
3. Tatoos on girl being spanked.
4. Spanking not very hard in film and fake crying. Uggh. Granted I understand some people don't like severe videos like me,but does anyone really like a patty cake spanking video ?
Why bother.

Have you ever been spanked with a hard plastic hairbrush, Baboon?

SNM- No I have not and I don't doubt it hurts,but from a domestic discipline point of view I believe we look to a wooden hairbrush as the instrument of choice. After all in 99% of the stories we read does the author mention a large plastic hairbrush or a large wooden hairbrush ?

Wood is more popular, and I personally prefer it, but I can see situations where plastic is more likely. Diversity is the spice of life.

Plastic also produces a slightly different sort of pain, in my experience. Again, diversity.

Shitty acting, not enough tears ( some of this stuff looks like it should really hurts) naked on arrival , like victims fully dressed and stripped off as we go along and twenty minutes of boring hand spanking.

1. Spanking with the wrong hand...or even worse, spanking with both hands.
2. Holding the slipper wrong...there's only one way to hold this wonderful implement and that's a proper wrap-around grip.
3. Leda/Nu-West seem to have introduced a fake hairbrush that looks like it's made from balsa-wood. It might still hurt but...just doesn't look right.
4. Sticking plasters and artificial skin applied after an earlier filming period.
5. Endless or relentless spanking without any dialogue...at least throw in SOME scolding.
6. Thongs...I mean what is the point?
All of the above of course are IMHO.

1. Heavily tattooed and or pierced girls who look like they were recruited out of a travelling carnival.

2. Any fakery, especially the oh so annoying Nu-West practice of using balsa paddles and brushes or male subs in drag taking the actually discipline intercut with close ups of an actual woman's face. Whoever is running that outfit now, please be advised we are not THAT stupid!

3. Male tops who are in love with the sound of their own voice. We are paying to see you spank, not hear your talk and talk and talk.

4. Subs who don't react at all. I'm not interested in watching someone spank a freaking mannequin.

1. Little reaction from the spankee. I don't need overacting, but at least show you're in pain.

2. Thigh spanking. I prefer the swats to be limited to the bottom.

3. Rubbing, especially rubbing between every single spank. Are you going to freaking spank them or not? I wanted a spanking video, not a massage video.

4. Too much focus on one shot. I like to see a mix of the buttocks action, facial reactions, and the spanker. I know that some don't want their face shown and I accept it in those videos, but otherwise, lets see more than just the butt.

5. I also don't like tattoos on spankee. I just prefer to maintain a girlish type of spankee and that takes away from it for me.

All of the things discussed above are exactly why I have stated many times that IMHO just about every spanking video out there is well, "lame as hell"! I have completely given up on spanking videos. I am currently not a member of any site and if/when I do sign up it's always only for a one month period. When I do sign up it's strictly for the stills not the videos. I guess I wasn't aware of the recent Nu-West /Leda gripes I read above. In considering the fine work of Ed Lee in creating the site I really hope the current people carry on his tradition in producing realistic material. From what I read above, it doesn't sound like it. I hope this site doesn't go to the dogs!

I think it will be interesting to see what others have to say on this subject and I am anxious to check back often to see what other commenters post.

Lack of plot.

The spankings in Rigid East / Lupus Pictures are very much on the hard "show the bruises" side, but they provide a story line to go with the spanking. Alas, I don't speak the language they are filmed in, few of them are dubbed, so most of the ones I've seen involved reading subtitles during the spanking scenes.
