Do you regret having a spanking fetish ever ?

I think the thing that I truly dislike the most is not having a partner who is as into it as i am. I believe that spanking between consenting adults can be used in a wide array of ways. For pleasure, punishment, stress relief, etc. It really sucks not being able to talk my wife about this face to face, so i have to utilize forums like this one, where I can freely discuss this without any threat of being putdown, shunned, or deemed a some sort of freak.

I would have to think about this question. Sometimes yes and sometimes no. It wasn't my doing. I just became somewhat obsessed at the age of 13. But I was curious about spanking at the age of five.

No regrets. I was born with my wishes. And have more enjoyment through experiences.

I disagree with this premise of "love" being superior to all else. Love is as much a biochemical reaction as fetish, hunger, mood, or anything else that is part of being human. So from a practical POV I know I've had this fetish/interest all of my life, and in that life I have been able to love a lot of different people. There is no "magic one". Mix the right combination of appearance, pheromones, and personality and you'll get "love". Why not recognize that "love" might happen with an unsuitable choice and keep looking until you get both common fetish and love? It's not hard. People do it all of the time when they fall in "love" with someone who lives way too far away, or has some major practical flaw that makes them unsuitable even while your "heart" (lol) still "loves" them. They love them but choose to move on until they find the right balance.

Only insofar as I waste far too much time reading and writing about spanking when I could be doing something something else.

No regrets at all, as it is the way i am wired, it is me.

To regret would be the same as saying i dislike who i am.

I told my vanilla wife of my interest (understatement) many years ago. She still thinks it's a weird thing to like.

I don't regret being this way inclined and I am really glad that writing has offered a way of expressing it safely, but I do regret not being able to 'come out', so to speak, for fear of ridicule and misunderstanding.

I believe that this is the way some of us are wired. We just have to find the best way possible to accommodate it without causing unwanted hurt or offence.

I know for certain that the inclination, even urge, will never leave me. I shall, therefore, carry on writing for as long as I can!
