Ok folks, it's time for Round 3 of my Challenge. Don't worry - those of you who have yet to post your recommended story lists for Round 2 (theme: Humor) and/or Round 1 (no restriction on theme) can still do so at any time on the original Forum topic. I've decided that, from now on (or until I change my mind) I will make a separate Forum topic for each round.

I have to apologize to rachelredbum. I had promised her that the theme of Round 3 would be "Sci-fi/Fantasy." With the onset of the holiday season, however, I have decided to push that back to Round 4. If she reports me to Miss Thrashbottom, so be it.

Without further adieu - the theme of Round 3 is Christmas." As was the case with Round 2, the first three rules are the same as those for Round 1. If you want to read them in full, you can refer back to my initial post for the original Challenge. If not, the condensed version is as follows:

1) List 6 of your favorite stories (or other items) available here at the Library as a single post on this topic.

2) Give the title, author and a brief synopsis (#of words and orientation is helpful)

3) No two of the six can have the same author.

And then, we add one more rule for Round 3:

4) At least 3 of the 6 stories (or poems, songs, or other) must have the theme of "Christmas" (or some other December holiday - Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, etc).

Helpful hints:

- you can find Christmas stories here in the Library by using the handy-dandy search function, or by browsing the "Christmas" section bookshelves, both of which are accessable via the "Submissions" tab on the navigation bar.

- authors who participate may plug one of their own stories

- there is no need to have participated in either of the first two rounds to join in the Round 3 fun. You can always go back to the earlier rounds at any time

Happy Holidays, everyone!

I actually wrote a story for Xmas this year based on my Headmaster's New Wife series, which I'm posting on spanko.net as we can't do any new posting here do to Februs's unfortunate illness. Best wishes to him, and I hope he gets well soon!

I wrote a Christmas poem as well. I may cheat and post it in the forum like I did with my Thanksgiving one...

@spankedjenny

And I wrote a Christmas poem several years ago posted in the library, "The Kink Before Christmas," which I may share in the forum if you're "cheating" too 😜 (yes, a shameless plug)

Shouldn't we get serious and rise to the challenge rather than see who's the best cheater? Otherwise I am afraid Ms. Thrashbottom will wear her arm out before Christmas ...

If no one, not even Alef, is going to go first, I'll have to rise to the occasion. Perhaps I should have just taken rachelredbum's suggestion to make Round 3 "Sci-fi & Fantasy" rather than try to spread a little Christmas cheer. If no one else, not even Alef, will go first, I'll just have to rise to the occasion to keep this from being a complete bust (while we wait for Jenny's poem). Janine has made it a little easier for me to get close to my limit of 6 items by self-plugging HER own poem. Without further ado (and sticking to the Christmas theme throughout):

1) THE ELF, by Neil (M/F, 2,526).
You'll notice the "elf" theme throughout my recommendations. In this one, flight attendant Byrony, dressed as an elf for a holiday-themed excursion to Finland, is mistaken for the real thing and introduced to a Father Christmas custom that leaves her backside rather sore.

2) ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A SPANKING, by Kephren (M/F, 5,464)
As part of a college fundraiser, a coed writes a letter to Santa requesting a Christmas spanking, with the hope that it might be administered by her boyfriend who is on the committee. That is not exactly how it plays out.

3) MY NAME IS MARIGOLD, by FionaBlue (M/F, 3072)
A little Christmas roleplay with her boyfriend leave Iva Mae to some sexy sore-bottom fun as "Santa's elf," gaining her a new name in the process.

4) CAROL'S CHRISTMAS, by flowerchild (M/F 6,616)
In recovery mode after the dissolution of her long-term marriage, Carol spends Christmas with her brother's family. In the process she re-connects with her siblings's best friend, dredging up some painful decades-old memories. In the event, Brandt overcomes her reluctance on sparks fly.

5) THE COOKIE THAW EFFECT, by Alef (M/F, 4,609)
Two scientists seeking, to explaining the annual December warming trend in Norway, come up with a a hypothesis having to do the the heat generated by thousands of birched behinds. Can it be?

6) RED-BOTTOMED ELF, by minidancer (M/F, 4,044)
Initially resenting the costume her boss/boyfriend has required her to wear for the company Christmas party, Sophie finds her holiday spirit after a bare-bottom "attitude adjustment."

Having selected more than 6 stories in order to have back-ups in case someone else posted one or more of them first (no such luck!) I'm once again using the authority of my position as Challenge Initiator to a extend to an extra story.

7) FESTIVE FESTERING, by Kia (M/F, 1,918)
With holiday decorating not going according to plan, a pouting Valerie leaves the fire in the fireplace unattended, to her husband's displeasure. He breaks out the strap he had intended to give her for Christmas in order to give her some pre-holiday correction.

I WOULD rise to the challenge here but honestly I can't recall reading any Christmas themed content on here...let alone six of such so the only thing I have going is the poem I wrote (which I just concocted last night for that matter)

I've written at least 4, but like Jenny I can't recall any others, at least not enough that I could recommend them with any confidence.

@Spankedjenny & @Seegee
It's the Christmas season - that's why you should check out the "Christmas" section of the LSF bookshelves, find and read some Christmas stories, and then report back here with the best of them. It'll give you reading material while "Latest Loaded" isn't all that late with Februs being on medical leave. Geesh!

I've recently posted a Christmas story - "A Present for all the Family" - but for some reason it isn't showing up in the Christmas section.
