All the stories I have checked so far are by that witch Flopssy
It does seem to offer an expensive way to read a number of KLSF stories on a mobile android or a Nexus 7

Exactly. You want to know why? Well, I started off publishing some of my stuff as E-Books, then because Febs and I are so selfless and generous of spirit (ok, rephrase that - we're a pair of mugs!!) we thought that given that we have the skills and experience to produce professional looking E-Books, other authors might appreciate similar treatment. ... Ergo - we have a very long list!

As the publications site grows you will see many other authors join the ranks.

Given that several of mine are priced at £0.77p, that's hardly expensive. People are already paying for the convenience & portability of reading stories on their E-readers. Plus, you won't have realised that we will also be selling material which does not appear in the library.

I think it's a great idea to help with the expenses at the LSF. I'll always be all for that. This place has given me so much attention and exposure it's not funny, just as it has other authors here. Another great thing. Flopsy and Febs, you have now surpassed the 'greater than sliced bread' mark.

I agree with Bendover. If using my work can help retain this place as it is then I'm happy for them to to do so.

I will just make this observation though. There is an awful lot of material for sale on Amazon's platform and it's getting more competitive every day, even in our little TTWD niche. Most indie self publishers languish in obscurity. They never sell a single book. So while I do think that this project will likely be sufficient to fund operations here, we should not expect a windfall. You are competing with people who have been at this game for awhile and have the marketing, the networking, the name recognition and the contacts to generate sales. But from the looks of it Februs, flopsy and Co. are making a good go of it.

To see what I am talking about, go to the Amazon Kindle store and in the search field type "spanking stories". Then click on one and look at "customers who bought this also bought...". Just keep following those links. You'll see what I mean.

Just a note to say that if anyone would like to use a pen name for their anthology contribution please drop us an email or send flopsy or myself a popup. Not that I'm featured myself but I did have a go at thinking up a suitable pen name - it's not as easy as it appears

I think that "Tech-God" is both suitable and altogether obvious.

Perhaps that is true, but we have a great resource in the LSF, right at our fingertips: a huge membership base. Members who should be willing to give back a little to this fantastic site by purchasing an e-book (or two or three)...members who have enjoyed all of the fabulous material here for FREE, whether as writers, readers or lurkers, and will (hopefully) show their appreciation by donating in this small way.

So how can we make sure LSF Publications is a success and can rise above the competition?

(1) BUY! Show your support and help move LSF stories up the ranks in popularity on the Amazon booklists by increasing sales volume.
(2) REVIEW! Try to leave comments on the e-book's Amazon page after you've read what you've purchased. It signals to potential buyers that these e-books are of higher quality and have been purchased with greater frequency.
(3) PROMOTE! If you have a blog where you post your stories, why not include a link to the LSF Publications page?

Personally, I'm happy to be able to contribute a story to the anthology—it is so little to ask of us in exchange for everything we've received from being members here. And I look forward to carrying a little portable "piece" of my fellow authors (in my Kindle, that is) and supporting them and the LSF in this easy and inexpensive way.

Likewise! And I have already downloaded one of Flopsy's and one of Valerie's stories.

I am sure that LSF Publications will be very successful with the thousands of appreciative members here supporting and promoting it!
