Februs:
then I have to assemble into 5 Word documents,

That must be the hardest task of all having to use one of Bill Gates' products. Do you wash your hands afterwards?

Well we could always make a post on here with a list of the pen names and who they correspond to.

That sounds like a great idea. Perhaps to save you extra work, Februs, the authors themselves can post their publishing nom de plumes on a forum thread before the first anthology comes out. I'm happy to get the ball rolling - since I have already sorted out my lsf publishing name - if and when u give me the go-ahead!
Thanks for answering my Qs and I can't wait to download the very first LSF anthology!!!

Actually many word processors will produce a Word document, including the free Open Office.

When I bought a new computer last year, it came with Windows 7. I was shocked when my older copy of Word wouldn't load in the new OS, but my vintage copy of Word Perfect loaded just fine. Did Microsoft really imagine that I would run out to buy a new version of Word?

That's strange. My old Word documents loaded just fine, and I can tell you, I have really ancient versions...

Not the documents, I was talking about the program itself. I had an older copy of Microsoft Office, which includes Word. My new Microsoft OS mysteriously wasn't backward compatible to that, but it ran my antique Word Perfect suite just fine! I guess Microsoft expected me to buy a new $300 Microsoft Office suite to run in my new $400 computer?

Um, I have Windows 7 and currently I'm using Office 95 - because I have a legal copy of it. Word works just fine. Sometimes I'll need to use Open Office to open a .docx file, but that's rare.

Maybe your disc or security key had a problem with it?

Perhaps there should be a contest to come up with names for these spanking anthologies. I've come up with:

The Great GASPY
An American Spanko in London
Dom Quixote

Of course some names of books need no modifying such as:
The Odyssey

I believe "Crime And Punishment" has already seen some use...

"A tail of two (red) Sitters"?

"The lord of the Crops"?

"Whacksing Poetic"?

Are there any plans of a hardcopy version of these anthologies?
