Just a brief note to let you know of developments with LSF Publications.

First, we are in the process of publishing story anthologies which will be available to buy as E-Books, direct from the Amazon Kindle store, or from our new site, LSF Publications. All the authors have kindly given their permission for one of their stories to be included and have agreed that any royalties from the anthologies can go towards site fees.

Secondly, we will also be publishing the works of certain authors as E-Books. At the page you use to log on to the library http://www.thespankinglibrary.org/ you will see we have included scrolling bookshelves featuring some of the titles already available. Clicking on any of the book covers will direct you to the LSF Publications site http://www.lsfpublications.com/ Please note that the site is still under development. You can, however, purchase any of the titles listed by following the links to Amazon, and very soon LSF Publications will be providing the option for people to buy in additional epub (Nook, Kobo, iPad etc), and mobi (Kindle) formats - and for those who don't have any of these new fangled readers, PDF files will also be available.)

The other change you may notice is that those authors whose works are currently available for sale (Alef, valerie, flopsybunny and shortly PinkAngel) will have a change to their author page in the form of a BUY tab. Clicking on that takes you to the LSF Publications site.

That's about it for now. I'm not going to go into too much detail at this point. We will be providing a list of FAQ's on the LSF Publications site later as we develop the site further.

What do you do in your spare time Flopsy?

About every six months you dream up some whole new project to expand the LSF. I'm afraid we're going to burn you out.

Great. I like this project. It's an easy way to contribute to the site fees and get something out as well.

I'll be fascinated to see how many people will click on Amazon and buy this stuff quietly and privately rather than sign on to a shifty dodgy spanking site like this to read it for free. Millions, I hope.

The nice thing about this is that it should easily fund the library's server needs and keep it going as it grows. My theory, untested and unproven of course, is that tablet platforms and PC platforms are different and provide different reading experiences. So I think ebooks will sell, even to site members. But the other thing to note is that there are spankophile readers out there who are unaware of the existence of LSF but who avidly search Amazon and the other retailers for material.(And there is a ton of it out there).

I never bought any erotica on Amazon as all sells are directly connected to my real name. And they always give suggestions when you go to the Amazon site. Once I bought a kindle for one of my children and forgot to log out my account. So the kindle was immediately updated with all the stuff I had already downloaded. I was glad that no erotica was inbetween. The library is much safer than buying books on Amazon.

Me too! My theory is that many people are too paranoid to register on any "off color" site. Some will see well-known online bookseller sites as more private, or at least safer.

The e-book formats also solve issues with compatibility between platforms (Ipad) and once loaded, you don't need an Internet connection to read them.

Bingo. I'm all for that!
