Februs please convey my best wishes to her and hopefully this is just a minor complication and she'll soon be back to her cheeky best.

So very sorry that flopsy is taking longer to mend than hoped for.
Just stick in there and be assured of the concern, love and prayers
of so very many good friends ....

I should like to add my best wishes to Flopsy for a swift recovery. I had anticipated a quick and straightforward op, and I trust she is well and recovering.

Sorry to hear that the operation has not gone entirely smoothly. If the sheer volume of concern and good wishes coming her way counts for anything, she should pull through this scary patch. All my best to both Februs and Flopsy.

Not the news anyone wanted to hear. I hope that you soon begin to take rapid steps on the path to complete recovery.

Whilst not having bothered to take the time to formally qualify from Med School you understand, I would prescribe an intravenous supply of copious quantities of VIMTO and a regular application of a MARMITE poultice. Both in conjunction with a liberal diet of CRISPS.

Best wishes to both of you and a little advice. Ask questions, especially if your not comfortable with what you're being told by the doctors. Talk to the nurses (sisters). They spend more time with the patient than the doctors and often have a better feel for what's going on (my wife's nurse).

Here's hoping for a speedy recovery despite the complications. And tfs is correct, there's no extra charge for asking questions, even if you have to doit repeatedly. It's your body and you're entitled to know exactly what's going on.

I can actually do a bit more than ask questions as my own background is actually in pharmacology and pathology, so I do know exactly what they should be doing ... getting them to do it is another matter though!
