My thoughts are with you both, Februs and Flopsy.

Complications don't necessarily mean any failing on the part of the medical staff, cfpub.

Love!

I am concerned about Flopsy. I hope that all goes well. I don't like this infection after surgery. I know that everything will be fine.

Not the news we wanted to hear, that's for sure. Again, my best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery.

JohnH:
Whilst not having bothered to take the time to formally qualify from Med School you understand, I would prescribe an intravenous supply of copious quantities of VIMTO and a regular application of a MARMITE poultice. Both in conjunction with a liberal diet of CRISPS.
Chin Up Flopsy!

Not being a doctor myself, but having had lots of friends who DID become doctors, I can say with no little authority that that sounds like a wonderful prescription.

Februs:
I can actually do a bit more than ask questions as my own background is actually in pharmacology and pathology, so I do know exactly what they should be doing ... getting them to do it is another matter though!

Then again, Februs may be well-suited for helping Flopsy work things out.

cfpub:
Being an American, my first thought is that hinting (or threatening if they are not to quick on the uptake) a lawsuit often is a great motivator,

That is, of course, the American way. So it probably is useless in the UK.

Februs, have you taken a laptop with a temporary internet connection in to Flopsy? When I was in hospital I found such a great aid to recovery. It would help her to seeing all the good wishes.
