I will have to say Now He'll Get His, because I was trying something new, and the reception to it has definitely been favourable!
Tricky with other authors-I need to explore LSF more. So much material to read!

My favourites are "The Breast View" and "Wife's Cousin - Part 1"
My favourite for other authors is "Phi Gamma Beta - Part 4" by Seegee.
Among my own stories this was a very hard call as I like 95% of my stories really well, and the last 5% I just like...LOL. My other authors favourite wins over the others, all though there are many other fantastic stories on this site well worth reading. My favourites of course are all F/M one may have noticed, but then that is what I write and I prefer to read.
I must conclude saying old and new stories published are great and just because I have favourites does not mean I read them any more then I read other stories.

Oh wow! That's really flattering, CS. One of my favourites from other authors is Three Over The Knee' by Chard T, Paris Morreau's Danny stories and Legion's Zoey stories.

I guess my favorite is "The Ways of the Lord" which has also received about twice as many favorites as any of my other stories (the customer is always right!), but I also have a weak spot for "Laughter on Elizabeth Street".

Aha! A licence to self-plug! My favourite of my own stories is "The Sketch Pad".

I've been found out. Now everybody knows why I started this thread
My personal favourite is "Right Between The Eyes" but if the number of comments and/or favourites is the benchmark then my opinion is not shared by my readers.

"The Ones Who Do Not Return" - it's one of my few attempts at serious writing. It borrows from "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" by Ursula K. Le Guin, who borrowed the theme from both Dostoyevsky's Brothers Karamazov and William James' "The Moral Philosopher and the Moral Life".
It's one of my favourite stories that I've written, and I always enjoy hearing people comment on it.

Hmm my personal faves of mine would have to be: The Best bequest, KLSF Party at the Spanker Inn (definitely my mst researched story; including many LSF people, and occurring in a real venue, incorporating its own history); and Red Bottoms and the Le Rouge Diamond.

How clever of you to choose a story I hadn't read! But the trick was definitely worth the effort - this is a truly outstanding story, not for a cheap thrill, but for insight and understanding.

I have a special place in my heart for Against the Odds, a story I wrote about the state of Civil Rights in Maryland in the 50's and 60's and specifically a romance between a white man and black woman. It was a story I carried with me since childhood since the city where I was raised was the first stop for escaping slaves during the civil war. I was keenly aware of the network that ran through my city up to Canada to help escaped slaves to freedom.
Having read and commented on so many great stories, I cannot state a favorite. There are always a few I like on each latest list.
