I just hit the send button on the piece. It's called "Rabbit Hole".)

It sounds tremendously stimulating. Good choice of title by the way, not revealing that it's a sci-fi, which otherwise seems to be a certain way to decrease the views by half. I'm eagerly awaiting the release,

My attempt at irony fails again. When I said "My sci-fi spanking stories would have to involve time travel", I was thinking nostalgically of real life. But I may still try to.write something involving time travel. Maybe repurpose a Terminator.

You have received hundreds of positive comments, on this site alone. How could you let one imperfect compliment depress you? That's another rabbit hole.

My bad. Not being a native English speaking person, I tend to miss underlying tones like hints or irony, so it's nothing wrong with how you expressed yourself, but rather at this end. How you describe time travel now sounds equally good. It would make a great sci-fi. That genre doesn't have to be all space you know. Reprogramming a terminator and send it back in time to amend a certain problem involving a spanking would be a refreshing addition to the subject.

I look forward to reading it, KD!

I have been a SciFi fan since I was a boy- and that was a loooooong time ago! LOL

SciFi, in my opinion, is an exploration of 'what if', and it doesn't need to be technology based.

Thank you for your interest. As I said, it's 'in'....just a matter of when it will go up. It's one of my longer pieces and the 'sci-fi' element is more "Black Mirror" than "Star Trek". I don't want to give too much away but this is not a traditional 'spanking story' but rather a sci-fi story about something else and spanking just provides the track for the train to run on. That's why I sort of winced at the idea that it would be liked for the spanking element. I'd much prefer it be appreciated for the actual story, with spanko readers having the added bonus of their favorite topic strewn therough it.

That's a good one! LOL Well, I tend to always find ways to reduce readership, so I guess I just got lucky on this one. LOL Still it's Ff/m so I'm already starting at a deficit in M/F-land.

I'm disturbed by some of the recent comments. Instead of hijacking Giaglia's thread, I'll save most of my thoughts for a more appropriate forum.

I refuse to join the pity party. First, because I'm not qualified. Second, because it makes no sense. Two fine writers complaining about how the comments they receive don't tickle their fancy. I haven't commented on some of Geoffrey's stories because I haven't figured out what I want to say. But eventually, I will. I read and appreciated, most of Kd stories long ago.

Sometimes I just throw a comment out there. Other times I want to say more (too much). Maybe if the comment section were interactive, like the forums, that would work. Almost like a discussion group.

This is actually helping me with my sci-fi story. My beautiful, tall, blonde terminator with a titanium paddle is coming back, in time, to 2025, to get me to shut the fuck up.

Shameless plug: if you want a sci-fi spanking story, try my "The Inner Limits"

I had an idea for a new story. It would have a museum piece, bed warmer animate itself and make its presence known to a witch and her bottom. This would occur when the warlock trapped in the antique swatted the witch during a Salem tour visit. Is witchcraft considered sci-fi?

In response to Gagla’s original request, at the beginning of this thread, I have just submitted “Corporalis”, a novella in nine parts, to LSF. A Galactic Community hyper-space craft visits the somewhat backward world of Corporalis, where judicial CP is still employed, and its administration is broadcast to the population on the “Punishment Channel”. Two crew members, Fiona and Astrid, go down for R & R, intending to engage a pair of identical twin gigolos for a week of fun and games.
Of course, they are arrested, sentenced and corporally punished. The ship’s crew watch it on TV.
PS Very good and very long thread. You have obviously tuned in to a need of the readership.
Geoffrey Stirling.

Hmm... I wonder if the mix of fantasy and sci fi that is the settings for Phrase World would count? I', partly finished a story set there, involving interplanetary tourists being shrunk to 6" tall so they can play with the faeries.... I'll have to look at finishing it.
