Geoffrey:
Way back I promised to write an SF spanking story in response to Gloup/Gagla's appeal. It is finished

It's much anticipated

The plot sounds futuristic and promising. It definitely sounds like a backwards planet if they do not accept spankings as recreation

I have some new sci-fi on the way as well. I'm hoping to finally get an acceptable version of the continuation of "Blasted Off" together.

I hope this will mean that we're back to a steady stream of sci-fi and fantasy, like in the early days of the library.

So 8 pages in and I'm still world building... Absolutely no references to spanking...

Drat my love of world building. Time to restart and add spanking in the start of the story.

You really don't need a reason for a spanking, it is always right at any time

Jus throw it in.

I'd like to again thank Flatfish for his stunning contribution to the sci-fi genre and by that release blissfully breaking my more than two-year-stretch dominating that orientation. Unfortunately, I have now three more stories out there (Lost in Space), meaning that I've begun a new stretch since January. I put my faith in you guys doing something about it and produce more sci-fi, not again leaving me alone to battle in this field. Treestalker? Goodgulf? Priscilla? RnR? I have put my money on you

My multi-chapter Sci-Fi effort, "Corporalis" is finished and about to be submitted to LSF. Thank you for the inspiration, Gagla.

Interestingly enough, I too, have recently finished a venture into this genre as a result of this thread. And it's a long (for me) piece of 18 pages.

It's "done", but currently still in ....but nearing the end of.....my 'review process'. Once I'm convinced it's finished-finished, I will be sending it in. I'm somewhat eager to see what sort of reception it gets.

Giaglia, referring to 1984 said

"Indeed. The only thing it's missing is a proper spanking sneaked into the plot. As the story revolves around revising people's mind set, there ought to be plenty of opportunities for that."

There's some irony here. Julia, Winston's girlfriend works in "pornosec". I think she wrote, "Spanking Stories." That was the type of fiction needed in 1984. Keeps the mind occupied?

I enjoy sci-fi by Heinlein and Norton that have spanking. Usually, when I read sci-fi I tend to get wrapped up in that. When I read spanking stories I usually only think about the spanking. Unfortunately, in real life, spanking is now only fantasy. My sci-fi spanking stories would have to involve time travel.

Well, as long as it has spankings in it, I'm certain it'll get received well ;)

I love that nieche as well, so please make an attempt The good thing about sci-fi is that you don't have to care about today's norms of society. Even if the story is set in the future, it can follow completely different views of spanking, both for pleasure and punishment, than what is the current view of the subject.

I know you meant that to be kind and encouraging, and I think you for that.....but somehow I find that statement to be depressing. The story I did was written to be a bit more than that. I'd hate for the story to get nods of approval merely because of a few whacking scenes.

But let's see. I think I'm very close now to sending it in.

(Edited to add: OK.....for good or ill..........I just hit the send button on the piece. It's called "Rabbit Hole".)

I look forward to reading it, KD!

I have been a SciFi fan since I was a boy- and that was a loooooong time ago! LOL

SciFi, in my opinion, is an exploration of 'what if', and it doesn't need to be technology based. What if, for a silly example, I could go back in time and spank Joan of Arc before she incited the religious world? What would the present look like? That, I would class, is SciFi.

As for spanking.. well, been a fan of that just as long! So, combine the two.. I am in heaven!
