@Glagla @stevenr

When it comes to contributing (stories, which seemed to be the topic) I'm pretty much past tense - one in 2022, and a mere snippet over the previous 3 years. I suppose it's better to be a has-been than a never-was.

Yes, I am am still an active denizen here in the forum, especially taking the part of the resident curmudgeon, but that takes little tome or effort.

@DianaMiller

As a once-productive author, I can say that (to my best recollection) grinding out stories takes time, diligence and inspiration. Only the "inspiration" part is any magic, and I don't know any shortcut there.

I knew it was a prolific year but I (Learningbare) did not expect to see my name on this list. Hopefully my bursts of inspiration led to some enjoyable reads. Many thanks to all the hard work put in by validators, admins, etc, and to commenters.

Thank you including me with an honorable mention. I keep meaning to send in more submissions, but first I have to:
1) finish some of the many, many stories that I'm working on, and
2) Let those stories age to the point where I won't mentally correct the typos.

If it wasn't for typos, I'd not have a single story on the site. If a story was perfect, no grammar issues, no misspelled words, if it had nothing wrong with it, most people would assume I didn't write it.

My big issue is that if the story is still in my head I will mentally correct all those types. Thus I don't see them.

That's why it's so hard to effectively proofread your own work, you know what you wrote, so you see what you expect to see, not the word salad you actually typed, or at least that I typed.

Some of the authors mentioned have been re-posts sometime re-edits from another site due possibly due to changes in at other site. That doesn't retract from their enjoyment, particularly as this sight allows the erotic aspects but explains how many have appeared so quickly
For my own part I was prescribed a drug for anxiety after a car accident which made me uninterested in writing . I'm stopping them now, and this post will hopefully be the start of more stories providing I can get round some tech problems

That was really sad to hear Jimisim. We all sincerely hope that things will progress in a good direction from now on and that again we'll have the pleasure of reading more of your stories here.
