What I saw at the Nudist Resort

My personal favorite C'sA episode. I think that was Ladd's first episode? On a side note, Ladd was in a Miner (not minor), movie where as a miner she had to get a ritual hazing of being spanked by a small shovel. Not as choice as you might think. Depending on location and years, I've never heard of, nor saw it in Northeastern (non-rural) US in the 60's and 70's (when I was around). Anybody I knew or heard about it, they'd be too shame faced to admit it. In Hippie California, they might have been that brash, but their parents would have been forefront of "Don't abuse your children!" Maybe in rural area in between...

Key words used is goodgulf's "common" and my emphasis on "rural." Rural, usually is not typically a very dense or large population, and therefore, not "common" although it may have been "common" in rural areas.

While I agree with the sentiment that truth is often way more boring than fiction.....which is why fiction had to be invented in the first place......there are exceptions, and the evidence of handprints and belt marks do add credence to the OP's theory. The only points of contention would be: did raisedkilt see what he wanted to see rather than what was really there? and could anything else have produced the impression of spanking marks? Had the observation been merely of pinkened coloration, I would certainly assume sunburn over spanking, but a good spanking looks much different than a mere sunburn and if one is familiar with the effects, the marks on display could be quite incriminating.

Try to find them, raisedkilt. Brazen spankers are a rare commodity. You'll regret missing the opportunity.

I would go out of my way to track them down. Hell, I might even have politely interrupted their meeting up with friends. I HATE missed opportunities. It's how I've managed to have the adventures I have had. You don't accomplish anything by holding back.]
