Looks like we lost another site. Scarletthill.com website is listed for sale.

I had that feeling. Darn it! I really enjoyed that site. Both the texts and artwork.

So sad to see it go. I purchased many of their publications mainly "No Nonsense Ladies" latterly as e-books but they were also available in the Janus shop for many years even though they were based in Nevada. While the prose on their website was a bit too flowery for my liking their F/m publications pressed the right buttons for me. I assume it's another victory for technology. RIP.

Sorry to see them go. They were one of the early publishers featuring women in dominant roles. Woman to Woman and No-Nonsense Ladies were two they put out. Their stories were reasonably realistic, too.

I received a message from the company on my blog a couple of months ago and I was asked to help spread the word, so I am comfortable with sharing this. Unfortunately the owner of Scarletthill passed away a couple of months ago. As they no longer have the technical capabilities to keep the site going they decided to close S.H.E

Very sorry to hear of Scarlett Hill's demise. It was a good site, and I always enjoyed visiting it.

I have half a dozen or so of SH's stories that I copied on file, all M/F. If anyone would like to read them, I'll be happy to share.

I did save some of their art, wish I saved their F/M & F/f material.

Scarlett Hill was pre-internet, originally. I had many copies of their many and varied publications at one time but got rid of them during a health crisis. Hell, I even had a cover story on one pub. Sorry to see them go ...

I'm sure more than a few of us have purged our collections at some point and regretted it later. I have several times.
