I purchased dozens of copies of "No Nonsense Women" from Kinematics in NYC. I read some of the illustrious Library Of Spanking Fiction's authors' early work in the "Where It All Began," sections of the issues. I also purchased some of their unique videos over the years. Sad to see them go, and may the owner's memory be a blessing to their family.

I would strongly recommend tracking down and purchasing whatever remains of the AKSS´ stock of "disciplinary fiction and nonfiction" - before it goes completely out of print. The AKSS has been defunct since roughly the year 2000 - so they are no longer printing up new copies of their classic, highest-quality "disciplinary" literature.

The AKSS (the Alice Kerr-Sutherland Society ) is by far my favourite publisher of literature having to do with spanking and cp.

Sorry to hear of Scarlett Hill's closing but I noticed that Chross has made a come back, posting 2 items over the last few days and found a site, literatica.com that has spanking stories but these are not for the faint of heart.

I'm surprised they would shut it down, rather than keeping it up and just selling what they now have in print.

The AKSS was more than just a publishing company. They were a social organisation for people all over the world who were interested in "romantic discipline". They even advocated in favour of moderate cp. I am not sure why they shut down about twenty years ago. It might have been due to a lack of individuals with the drive and motivation to keep it up and running. Or maybe financial problems.
