Lush Stories has some good spanking stuff (including one of mine that was a bit too rich for Februs' blood!)

asstr.org has some stories. Their search engine hasn't worked right for a few years but the site's stories are exposed to Google so you can use Google to find whatever you want there.

This thread reminded me of one place I used to find some stories back say 10+ years ago. I wonder if anyone else has ever looked here:
http://www.textfiles.com/directory.html

This is a general archive, but if you use the search feature you can find some decent spanking related storeis. A lot of these files are from the 80s or copied from older files. I found the process of looking through these random .txt stories pretty entertaining back when I was looking.

On a related note, does anyone know what's going on with Scarletthill.com? I can't access the site anymore.

Richard Windsor said that an old established site had gone but he wanted to talk to the owners before posting about it - it could be them, I know they found a lot of the extra finances involved a burden. A shame if it's so.

Google groups is a great resource for finding spanking stories. Sadly, they have deleted some from the mid and late 90's, but there are still hundreds of good stories there.

I can't tell you what's going on, but I can tell you the website name is not up for sale. It also doesn't kick you back to google or whatever web-search is primary on your system. This suggests interruption was not expected, which in turn suggests the servers that host the website are down (either the hardware is physically broken, or some part of the software is causing a conflict).

This may be bad news, as most webmasters normally keep a 2nd or more desirable third backup handy for just such an occasion, such that Loss Of Access can be reduced as much as possible. Software conflict is less common, yet does cause a more lengthy time to problem-solve.

After that the reasons are either fiscal, or logistical, and may involve a more lengthy duration, to permanent outcome. All I can tell you is that there are usually alt forums (like this one) or even more personal ones, like twitter, where frustrated patrons vent their confusion about inability to access a website. Yet no one seems to be saying anything, which suggests either patrons were forewarned about the LOA, or that there wasn't any patronage to begin with.
