If you have a NSFW tumblr it will be purged!

Tumblr is purging almost all of its NSFW tumblrs. I found this posted on one I read:

So if your a NSFW blogger and think your going to lose all your posts STOP! here is what you do, go to appearance edit page and scroll all the way to the bottom and click EXPORT. Your blog will be compressed into a zip file and you be emailed a link to download it. Click the link and you will be taken back to your profile, go to edit appearance again and now there will be a download button. download the zip file. It will only DL pix and .Gifs Nothing else!!!

Yeah, I don't know why this is happening. I mean, does anyone here read SFW tumblrs?

Things like this Great Tumblr purge remind us how wonderful it is to have a safe, stable site like this one to post to. I'm still shocked that Tumblr is doing this, but as I visit site after site about half the spanking sites I try to visit are already gone.

I have been on Tumblr for years and have amassed, like a pack-rat, thousands of delicious images, GIFs and videos and am sickened that they will be nuked as of 12/17

Someone clued me in on a new site called BDSMlr.com which, in appearance, seems similar but is new and obviously has far less content at present but should evolve nicely...

Do the thing listed above and you'll be able to save the pictures.... That's better than nothing.

Seriously, half the tumblrs I visit have gone early. They are dropping like flies. Wait and you might miss the chance to do so. Do it now, and maybe later, but if you don't do it now then you might never get the chance.

I'm serious - long time timblrs with years of archives are now gone, and it's more than a week before the deadline.

Jenny, I'm going to miss Blistered Butts. For years its been one of my daily stops as I bump around on the internet. IMO it was the overall best spanking site on tumblr.
