Where it all began?

About the question, I was not that enthusiastic as a child about spanking but in my 20 and after I was married and was free to explore most things . Found spanking and have enjoyed it ever since.

OnT: It's curious to see so many people developed their interest in spanking as adults.
My interest in spanking definately predates my interest in sex, we're talking almost as early as I can remember.
Which is why I use the word "interest" rather than "fetish". 7-year olds don't have fetishes, it's something on a different level in my case.

i like many of the commenters thought i was hard wired (born) with the obsession as i remember being about 4 or five when i knew about spanking and my parents, brothers and my grandparents or other relatives seemed to not have it. I looked up spanking and spank everytime i learned how to use a dictionary and i would always be the first to read comics in the newspaper (little Iodine and Nancy were being spanked back then.) and there were others like Smilin Jack and Steve Canyon had some spanking threats that excited me even at that age So someone said there must have been some traumatic event, but for for the life of me there is no incident that stands out as something that turned me on to spanking. I still feel like i was born with it as i seemed to know more about it than i should at that age and it was not like anybody else in my family was pursuing it so i think it is a recessive gene that we somehow activate and it never seems to weaken even after 60 years. thanks jim for sharing I am a few years older. I agree with your premise We are born not made. Contrary to your experience I was spanked by my father. He was beatien with a belt as a child way back when that was the norm. In turn I suffered the same. I hated it, hurt and made me cry. As I am today, that never changed my and your persuasion.

I am a rather "deep" spanko. Albeit a strictly "ivory tower" such. I have never done any spanking in real life. I was only spanked one single time when I was a child, and I hated it because it hurt!

I don't remember having an interest when I was younger. I received a spanking from my grandmother, cause there was a bucket of water in the kitchen and I... spill it!
