I was intrigued a while back to come across an interview with the actress Jenny Maxwell who played Ellie, the girl Elvis spanks in 'Blue Hawaii'. She remembered that Elvis, who was normally pretty relaxed about his movie acting, suddenly turned ultra-professional and insisted on multiple takes of the spanking scene 'to get it right'. No wonder Ellie's having trouble sitting down in the scene that follows....

Elvis did have a thing for girls around that age... As well as older women.

Yes E gave a good one. His songs were so much better though. My choice is Maries The Name of His Latest Flame. Going there to listen now. Nite.
