Based on this sample of responses, one would conclude that most married spankos, with some exceptions, are frustrated in this area of their lives, in total or in part. My wife paddles me twice a week "because she loves me," but does not enjoy it. I am most grateful. Hard erotic spankings, not for punishments. While I would love her even if she didn't, these spankings immediately arouse thoughts of love for her, and she likes that. We have other areas of our lives in which we have much in common. We both consider this a very good marriage.

As far as my spanking life is concerned, it's covered in an article I wrote as a tribute to the late Ivor Gold in Wellred Vol. 1 No. 9. It's a secret life, like Walter's.

I told my wife when I proposed. She spanked me that night with a belt. For several years it was on again off again with her being totally vanilla. About ten years ago she started to enjoy it more. Not at all, Tom and I met thorough a spanking. I was yellow carded at hockey in Uni for a bad tackle.

He commented that the yellow card was not sufficient and I asked what would he have done, sent me off.

So, spanking was anything but a secret. However, we don't talk about it to others unless we know they are similarly inclined.

RE the title of this thread: It was pretty much a secret in my wife's and my relationship, which was fine with us. I'm a fairly private person anyway.
