I am a 54 year old male who has been shaved below the waist, front and back, for decades. It started out as erotic adventurousness with mutual shaving between me and my first dominant partner. As her confidence grew, so did her reluctance to be completely bald down below. Eventually we just arrived at the understanding that she would be trimmed neatly but retain her tuft while I would be kept totally hairless. It became a symbolic mark of her authority and my submissive state....like another layer of nakedness so that even when both naked, I would be 'more naked'. Every partner since then has reinforced that. After decades of this consistent reinforcement from several partners, I have come to equate the presence of at least some patch of pubic hair on a woman with dominance and authority. When I see a shaved female I instantly equate it with submissiveness.....just as I see my own shaved state as a mark of my own.

When I was very young my mother took me to the beach. Afterwards since I had to be about 5 and she was alone since my father was working, she brought me to the ladies public changing room. With Rosa, it is a requirement that I be kept neatly shaved for her. She will comment if she thinks I've waited too long between shaves. And she will have me groom her...but never totally. Well, when one is submissive it's only proper to go along with the flow of the relationship. I admire you for going along with it, Pierre. I hope the chastity device is just another dominant thing and not a trust thing though. That's not good. Trust is a big factor in a relationship. You give her your trust and turn over the control to her, she should extend the feelings. Maybe you should question that.

The chastity device is not worn constantly for trust but at certain times as a reminder. I obey her rules without need of coercion. Similarly I only touch there with her permission. Chastity device or not I would not cheat on her rules and touch what does not belong to me just as I would not drive her car or use her laptop without permission......and she knows it (and expects it) LOL...heck I can't even use my own laptop without permission.

So clicking on a few links, I've found out why we have pubic hair. it comes down to the fact that we have two different kinds of sweat. Bare skin sweat is what most of us think of when we think of sweat, but when sweat there's hair it's a different type of sweat.

A more oily type of sweat that takes longer to dry, and even when it dries it makes your hair oily.

From an evolutionary perspective, this oily type of sweat reduces chaffing during sex.

I don't think that anyone has mentioned the evolutionary reason for armpit and pubic hair. As I understand it the hair in both places holds the pheromones that attract the opposite sex. When I was married I persuaded my wife not to shave either place.
Personally I think that a woman with a fully shaven pubic region could only be attractive to a man with paedophilic tendencies, even perhaps latent ones.

I think kdpierre nailed it in that shaving may be a sign of submissiveness. I mentioned this possibility above referencing the many models on the spanking sites I have visited. The girls are almost always completely shaven. I agree that many porn stars who have nothing to do with spanking also tend to keep themselves shaved but at least in the context of the spanking models who on many sites represent themselves as older teen girls shave as a symbol of being submissive.

But Nibra...i have to tell you, hunni, you would NEVER convince me to stop shaving my arm pits! Hairy pits on a girl are unhygienic, unfeminine, unsightly and just....gross!

Along with the armpits/sweating thing. I was shaved in the armpits when I had a surgical operation on my chest once, and I found that as a result I appeared to sweat far more until the hair grew back. Incidentally I find a woman's armpits delightful, probably because of them being cousins of her other, more secret places. Funnily enough my dear vanilla doesn't appreciate this.
