Paint Stir Stick

As we don't have such things in the UK, ( I use a bamboo stick for paint stirring, and it's now more like a cudgel with all the accumulated paint) a kind Canadian friend sent me some, and included in the batch was a plastic one, I think it's polypropylene, and is of course, much heavier than the wooden ones.
I have tried it, and it does work OK, but I agree that the wooden ones are too light.
