Merry Christmas everyone, though it's a day late. It was a beautiful day, one of the few times a year my whole family is all together.

As or the weather here in NJ, 2 weeks ago it was 18 degrees F, last Sunday it was 66, and today its 20 F, so far. We had 8 inches of snow, it melted and made lots of mud, which is now frozen. I wish it would make up its mind. Even cold is fine as long as it's consistent.

Hope everyone had a happy holiday, and starting with jools and working our way around the globe, may everyone have a Happy, and healthy, New Year.

I hope everyone had a great day with family and friends. for dinner, I made ricotta stuffed manicotti. The sauce was made with ground turkey and italian sausage. Dessert was pumpkin cheese cake and sweet potato pie.

It was in the 30's, but still a nice clear day.

Merry Christmas to everyone - a day late! Hope everyone had a happy day and got everything you asked for from Santa! I have been out of town for several days but am glad to be back. Happy 2014 to everyone. It is cold but sunny here.

Merry Christmas everyone! Here I am a day late and a dollar short. We moved into our new house Christmas eve and I'm just now settling in with my hot spot from my phone. No real Internet yet. Have a very very Happy New Year.

Well, the 'winter' weather here in the Lone Star State is quite unpredictable (although rarely cold enough for snow), but it was moderate yesterday (high 50s farenheit).

To me, the highlight of Christmas is the 'midnight mass,' Christmas Eve service at our Episcopal (Anglican) church--I'd agreed to be an usher, which perhaps was flattering, for the service that included the special 'bells and whistles' with great music (including guest musicians with violins), incense, individual lit candles (for the last hymn, "Silent Night"), etc.

Of course, I do miss my own remaining childhood family (mother and sisters) on Christmas, but I'm supposed to "cleave to my wife," after all... --C.K.
