Merry Christmas to you too! It must be unusual to celebrate a "winter" holiday in a place where it's summer in December. Did you go to the beach today?

Strangely it usually rains in Auckland on Xmas day haha! So no! Just had a lovely traditional Xmas lunch with my family then went to hubby's fam for trad Xmas dinner. Feeling very full and merry haha! luckily it only showered this year! Beautiful and sunny yesterday and tomorrows forecast is for hot sunny weather!!! Strangely a summer Christmas seems normal to me now! I barely remember Xmas in the UK tho it seems very romantic in my mind! Hope u have a great day Phil! x

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from rainy tropics. Hot and rainy with occasional sunny hour or two.

We had a beautiful day weatherwise and a lovely day out in the sun on the deck watching the kids enjoy their stuff and the weather.

Here in Scotland the rain is pouring down and it seems to be dark most of the time - I got a set of solar-powered outdoor tree lights and it takes all day to power them up for about 15 minutes flashing. Definitely a good time to spend in front of the fire, watching telly, with drinks and snacks to hand! Merry Christmas!
