I'd very much like to buy direct, but it seems there's a sort of discrimination against non anglo-saxon natives.

They still haven't forgotten the Norman invasion...

Are you saying that the site won't allow purchases from France?

I'm not sure I understand what your problem is, Ordalie. You can buy direct from the LSF Publications site regardless of which country you live in.
If you have a specific query please drop us an email.

Discrimination against non-Ango-Saxon natives would also mean problems for Welsh, Scots and ethnic Indians living in London. If this is so, there will be war...

Februs is a genius - his software can validate customers based on where their ancestors stood in the line of battle at Hastings.

Watch out if you Grand Great Grand Dad was one of those skulking at the back. ;)

Well, no because you can only pay in dollars or in pounds.

No, that's not correct. We quote prices in dollars and pounds, but you can pay via Paypal in the currency of your choice.

I guess I am really screwed then, one of my ancestors was a marshal under William the Conqueror and fought on the Norman side.

I myself come from a long line of draft dodgers and deserters who pretty much managed to avoid any fighting whatsoever. (My dad did serve in the army during WWII, but spent the latter half of 1944 playing games with the Germans by building pontoon bridges which the Germans would then float downriver by releasing water from upstream dams. I'm not sure whether or not that counts as fighting.) I wonder how Febs' software deals with that?
