A Poll: Were you spanked as a child?

Oh sorry I forgot to answer the 2nd part. I was about 7 and it was a fantasy about a teacher, interestingly enough this particular did spank and a lot, but she never touched me. I was a bit of a pet to be honest. I thought it was odd until I was about 14 and I happened to see material that indicated it was a far more common thing than I had ever realised and was a sexual turn on for many people. Ah if only we had the internet back then.

With the Internet, things are so easy. But I didn't start until around 2008. Before that, I had hardly any material.

1st question answer is #5, with a hand, hairbrush (most often), web belt, and a cane rarely. Occasional other things but not too many times.

2n question answer is around 17. Most stopped around 13 but never completely free of threat from parents until 17 when family broke up, a story yet to be told.

I don't really remember ever being spanked, although a) I remember lots of other things back until I was about 3-4 years old, and b) I do remember the very real possibility that I might be spanked, even until I was a few years older than that. My answers are based as much on my observations of my nine-years-younger brother getting spanked, albeit very rarely, until he was maybe 3-5, as on my own memories. These were more just a swat or two on the seat than a "real" spanking. And he was MUCH more poorly behaved than I ever was. I also remember one time when I was about 12-13, that my mom got perturbed about something or other, came charging at me swinging a ruler with which she, probably as more of an accident, struck me on my belt, once. I recall thinking, at the time, that it was so out of character for her, and that it had been years before since I had previously hed and real threat of a spanking.

I was not spanked at home but was paddled at school. Sister Mary Yardstick and all that LOL.

I grew up around people who spanked their kids when needed. Much of what I was spanked for was for things I did at home (or didn't do).

Q1: I woold say 3, spanked occasionally.
Q2: Until around 9 or 10

All spankings were provided by mom, always bare bottom and over the knee. Typically for annoying her by throwing a tantrum. Usually about 15 to 20 quick hand spanks. I did not take it well. I would struggle and carry on.

I forgot to add that on Question #2; even though my last spanking was 11 or possibly turning 12, I was always threatened with a spanking, until 14. I always thought that I might still get spanked, up to 14. I was very small for my age with low weight and small height, so that at about 14, I really looked like about 11. For my mother, I looked very much younger so that spanking was a possibility.
