I also went to the dictionary for clandestine thrills.

I find it truly amazing how wide-spread this activity was among spankos in their childhoods.

As the article pointed out, it is almost universal.

It's very touching. Thank you very much for sharing. It was a wonderful story.

Also it is so true that she said "Although spankings do satisfy a strong sexual need, they satisfy an equally strong psychological one."

It is not just about the pain ~

I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who has often wondered just how many of the people we meet are fellow spankos. Was that attractive young sales rep sitting opposite you last week and appearing so attentive when you explained your company's stationery requirements, really just fantasising about going over your knee? Was that pretty stewardess sitting somewhat uncomfortably on the jump seat after the farewell spanking she got from her boyfriend?
Jillian may well be surprised just how many of her friends and acquaintances reveal that that they share her liking for a sore bottom. Making your secret desires known to somebody who you know shares your interests must be a lot easier than simply divulging such thoughts to any old vanilla.

Thanks for the heads-up on this one. Good for Jillian. We are not alone in the universe and the New York Times is quite the stage to out yourself on. This is why sites such as The Library are so important to our daily lives.
Thanks again!

Why don't we have a universal emblem or symbol. Something simple that can be printed on T-Shirts or quite easily made into a badge at very low cost. I would suggest it should be red and white and feature the letter "S".
"Are you one of us?" should be answered by "are you OTK?".
Whereas the approach of "what does that stand for?" could be answered by "Save the Seal" and explained by the white being the poor seal pup's coat and the red being...well you know what. You could be living next door to a fellow spanko and not know it.
There are thousands of us throughout the world, and most of us are living very solitary and unfulfilled lifes which are all too short.
C'mon people,let's get together.

How about a nice colorful rainbow sticker? (Oh wait... That one's taken.)

Years ago, gays around here used a little bumper sticker with 3 letters on it. To them, it was instantly recognizable as the logo for an obscure local gay newsletter. Perhaps 1 straight person in 10,000 knew the meaning, so it was the perfect underground code.

I've always called the McDonald's sign "The Golden Buttocks", so I suggest a red, rounded, letter "M". If you are a bottom, turn it upside down.

Isn't that Superman's logo? Was he a spanko? If he was the spankee, did someone spank him with green kryptonite? Did that turn his ass green instead of red?

If he was the spankER instead, did he use a paddle or a cane? (though, as the Man of Steel, did he really need any implements at all?). Did his cape get in the way when he spanked? Did he share his spanking escapades with other superheroes?

Maybe Superman was the spankER, and Clark Kent was the spankEE.

And what of Lois Lane?

Ahhhh, you're probably thinking of Mr. Spock from "Star Trek," with his copper-based Vulcan blood.

Actually, the classic Superman logo is red and yellow, because baby Kal-el had red, yellow and blue blankets in his rocket ship that were later used by Martha Kent to sew the Superman costume.

BTW, Superman apparently no longer wears red undershorts over his blue tights... --C.K.

I thought there was the Hanky-code. But is there really still a need for it? There are so many spanking communities online that I think the least problem nowadays is to get in contact with other spankos.
