A Green Beret with seven tours in Vietnam told me that they learned in the jungle not to wear underwear cause they would bunch up and rub you raw. they also wouldn't wear socks in the jungle boots cause the boots were designed to dry out quickly, but the socks would not. So these guys qualify as commandos.

Reason I'm bumping this thread is that Miley has been in the news lately for another fashion choice.
There are photos of her in a very short pair of denim cutoffs that show her bare butt cheeks when she bends over.
Naturaly the paparazzi were there,and it has produced debate online about whther she was "hot" or "slutty."
I am sorry, but I think the paparazzi are creeps for following a young woman around and trying to get pictures like that.
This is different from not wearing panties(not that they should have taken those shots either). Many girls and women wear very short shorts, its nothing unusual. Doesnt mean they'd also not wear panties.
As for shorts and cut-offs that expose some cheek, they have been around awhile too. Remember the early 70s "hot pants"?
It is totally wrong to say a girl is a slut because she wears short shorts, even cheeky ones.

I agree but that doesn't stop me from enjoying some of the pictures that they take.
They are even older than that. In the 1950's they were called short shorts. There is even a song from that era called "Short Shorts". It starts out, "Dig that crazy chick." "Crazy" meaning hot, not insane.

Oh yes, I remember "Short Shorts" by the Royal Kingsmen.Don't think though the 50s short-shorts were quite as short as some later, like "hotpants."-could be wrong.
Speaking of Golden Oldies novelty songs, lets not forget "Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini." I think we would call agree though that bikinis have gotten alot more "itsy bitsy" since the beach movies of the early 60s.
