Christian

NO need to be sorry, you started an interesting discussion. We will never all agree, if we did it would scare the hell out of me...LOL!

Except of course we all agree Februs and his tech magic is a wonderful thing along side the rest of the admin crew.

A little thing I personaly miss at this very well coded page is to the left of the stories in the "Latest" list it should have a box to check placed in the same line for every story in the list so when you come again you can see to where you last have look through the list as some kind of a bookmark. It should only be possible to have 1 checkmark in total (of course per reader) i.e. when you set one mark a previous should automated be deleted. I hope this suggestion is understandable I do not think I can explain it better in English. And as a privious reply in this thread I have no idea how much work this will be for Februs!

Every time somebody logs in he/she gets a randomly selected story as an entry. And before this story isn't read and commented there is no chance to enter the rest of the site.mati

My, my, what is with all these suggestions for making a site that is pretty damn spectacular, better? Sounds like a Nanny Library of Spanking Fiction. Readers come to this site for many purposes and they are brilliantly accommodated. Some choose not to comment- so they have 500 opportunities to enjoy stories on the site before they must comment; that sounds pretty flexible to me. I can find all the stories I've read these last 8 months or so because my comments are saved and indexed--most users pay for sites that offer fewer services. The library changes I observed all occurred as data indicated there was a need. Right now, I have no need to receive emails regarding author page updates. I can find my way to an authors page to check. All I need is to log on, read, contact authors whose stories I enjoy, thank others who enjoy mine and enjoy the contacts and friendships I enjoy from members all over the world. Notice I overuse the word enjoy- I love this place. IC

that "njrick" recommends a story of "rollin" when I never heard of both.

I am in shock..."never heard of "njrick" or "rollin," where in the world do you live that these great stars of the web have not been heard around your dinner table? I am sure both NJ and Rollin are in shock right now and likely in the hospital. One's comments can be so cruel....

All those who don't make their "mati comment" ( the compulsory comment before more can be read ) must obviously line up to be spanked by the library Nanny.

njrick? rollin? Never 'eard of 'em.

I never quite thought of Miss Thrashbottom as a nanny.

Good grief, I go away for a few days and come back to this? This site has so many features and finding aids it makes my head swim. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Readers know what they like, genre wise, and finding it is easy. Once they do that they identify the authors they like and they can keep up with an author's latest by just going to his/her page. Problem solved.

PS--there are lots of readers who have no clue who "Rollin" and "njrick" are. It's a big world out there.

There are so many suggestions as to add this and change that. If I were ever to leave this site for a week, I might be lost when I return. I am waiting for virtual reality or holograms as in Star Trek. We could then interact together with the characters created in the holograms. That would be something. Instead of reading a story, we are actually in the story.
