Mrs R and I are in Western Canada so Az is relatively close. I've been to Blackpool in England. It was JULY and I thought it might be the coldest place on earth! I don't blame any Brit for Snowbirding it to Florida.

Blackpool isn't the coldest place on earth, but it can be pretty chilly I agree. That is why so many northerners retire to the south coast. Next time you visit you should come south to sunny Devon. Don't have the rides and things, but we do have some nice beaches, and delicious cream teas.

I can try. My kids have a Polish father with a Brazilian passport, a Brazilian mother with a Hungarian passport and two of the kids have Brazilian and Polish passports and the third Brazilian and Italian.

KJM surely wins the prize for heterogeneity. As for Mr & Mrs Raptor, sorry. If you end every sentence with '"eh?," you are officially Canadian, and no amount of gadding about will change it...

I can't quite match those mixtures, but I met a young woman once who was British of Pakistani parentage and born in Singapore. The Mayor of London, straw-blond Boris Johnson, has English, German and Turkish blood. knew a guy called Charles Singh who was British of British and Indian origins but born and brought up in Jamaica. The cricketer Geraint Jones was born in New Guinea of Welsh parents, brought up in Australia and played cricket for England.

Since Canadian's say "A" and Mexican's say "C", how come our American neighbours do not say "B"?

All I know is I am the most intense Boston Bruins fan ever and I immensely enjoyed watching the Canucks fans freak out after losing the Stanley Cup.
