One of the more interesting characters connected with caning is Eileen Carter (nee Taylor), who has the main title role in Lisa Berry's 62-part The Spanking Life of Eileen. Eileen becomes a masterful caner and spanker, both as a school House Mistress and with her women friends. She also gives and receives, mostly receives canings and spankings from her husband, who is also a private school Master; she also gives and receives, mostly gives the cane to her women friends. She also becomes a regular disciplinarian for some titled Ladies and their governess, and canes the governess with consent as well. She generally punishes with consent except for the school girls under her charge whom she punishes, although even some of them request or seem to request the cane. These last are probably the only inappropriate instances and only because they go against the school rules at times. It is her enjoyment of caning that appears to underlie her willingness to bend or break the rules when girls request the punishment. This lengthy and spirited series explores the whole world of caning scenes and concludes, it would seem, that much of the punishment is by consent or by school rule, except for a few occasions where it isn't. Eileen comes across as a delightful and wise disciplinarian--the occasional inappropriate canings lend authenticity to the stories. |
