The USA wins the spanking war, but which is the top US State?

As an "old world" cousin I have to admit that the USA is easily the spanking capital of the world. All the best spanking scenarios are set in the USA.
US School paddlings are better than English canings. Even paddlings of young ladies over jeans are better than canings over knickers.
Small town USA hairbrush spankings are better than English domestic slipperings.
The smartly dressed and angry 50something US Mom is more sexy than the cross old English maiden aunt.
Then you have the US farm strapping which have no decent English equivalent.
Even cutting of a switch in the US is better than the idea of English birching.

A question to all you American cousins on here which is the top spanking state? As an outsider I have this thing about South Carolina, even though I have never been there.

The southern part of the US is the more conservative and old-fashioned region, so they would be the most likely spankers. I don't know about South Carolina specifically but I just read that the final 2 school districts in North Carolina may be giving up school paddlings. Texas is unabashed about the fact that some of their schools paddle (you used to be able to find before-and-after YouTube videos of students outside the principal's office and on a couple you could actually hear the whacks behind his closed door). So if the parents support it at school it is likely their kids are still getting spanked at home.

I have lived my whole life in SC and I have no idea if spanking is more prevalent here, or if it ever was. To be honest, I don't even know if there are very many, if any, school districts that still allow paddling. I do know it was quite prevalent into the early 80's for both sexes. But licks weren't legal for girls until the early 70's, or about the time when women's lib was beginning to have an impact on much of society and girls were allowed for the first time to wear pants to school. Since then, I've no knowledge of it being used at all. It may be, but my guess is that it isn't. I would also guess that for spanking in general, such as domestic discipline and the likes, at one time it would have probably held its own with any state. But now, considering today's standards, it would likely be very average at best.

Having lived in Oklahoma as a child I can tell you they're definitely a contender.

As a US citizen, I can agree that spanking is prevalent here in many areas, but I don't know about the capital of the world. Large groups of blacks, Asians, Latinos and Muslims still spank, as well as certain Eastern European areas, which I know less about. Certain countries that are dominantly populated by these groups are likely going to have a more favorable spanking ratio than the US. The US has a lot of dead zones where modernity has eradicated spanking.

It should be noted that this is somewhat deceptive, as certain liberal areas, like California and New York, still have areas where spanking occurs, but it's in fashion to lie about it.

I can definitely attest that at least three girls who grew up in suburban Chicago knew only too well how much a spanked bottom stung! Now, this was several decades ago so times may have changed.

In Texas, at least in schools it's a mixed bag, a number of the larger cities have outlawed paddling in schools, but the more rural areas still embrace it. The state itself still allows it and leaves it up the the individual districts. The district I went to allowed it until the early 1990's. When I went (graduated in 1977), it was allowed, even encouraged. So I would think Texas would have to be one of the top states in terms of corporal punishment. I know nearly all the stories I write deal with paddling since that's what I'm most familiar with.

Paddling happened in the 60's In Iowa but it was rare. I an pretty sure it is outlawed at the present. But we can always have our fantasy's regardless. (smile)

Texas has the most (and most high profile) spanking events, and a disproportionate number of American spankos I've met online have been Texan. I think they're probably the winner.
