What a sad loss to all who knew her. She often commented very kindly on the rubbish I produce and I shall remember her fondly in my imagination singing along to the songs. It is so good to be able to put a face to this kind lady.

My condolences to Barb's family. She was always a very pleasant person in all my correspondence with her. She will be missed.

The LSF was truly part of her family. Taking the time to put a beautiful memorial of her proves that. What a wonderful lady.

This is really sad to hear. Our memories are all we have when someone leaves us, and it seems Barb left all of us with good ones of her. Bye, Barb, rest in peace and happiness.

How very sad. I looked forward to reading her comments whenever I submitted a new story, it was always a pleasure to read her astute insights and cheerful enthusiasm.
To Barb, a lovely soul.

I have a hard time equating people I interact with online to real people. I'll likely never meet any of you in real life, and I've never been good at participating in an online community to the extent where I get to know people. I don't think I ever had a real conversation with her.

That said, Barb is one of my top commenters and her kind comments always made me smile. She left a positive impact on our niche of the world, and that is admirable. She will be missed and she will be remembered.

There is a real person behind each contributor to the LSF and someone's death drives this lesson home. I am so sorry and my sympathies go to her family.

Maybe each of us who got comments from her should dedicate his or her next story to her...
