As many of you will know, our friend Barb was taken ill several months ago. Sadly we have discovered that she passed away on 16th December, aged 71 years.

She was loved by many people on the LSF, and we will miss her very much.

That was very sad to hear! I had hoped to have her back here with her always positive and insightful comments. May she rest in peace.

My prayers and thoughts go out to barb and her family. This is so sad to hear. I will miss her comments and her wonderful personality as I'm sure everyone in the LSF will. Heartbroken, I thank you for the update, Flopsy.

That's distressing to find out, based on her Library persona she was a sweet, caring person.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear it. I wasn't aware her illness was so severe. I only knew her via her kind comments on my stories, but she was a dear lady.

I liked Barb, from what little I interacted with her. A shame it wasn't more.

Did not know the Lady but by reading the comments about her life in the LSF she seems well thought of. Regrets!

What a shame! Who could not like Barb? I exchanged messages with many times. It is hard to imagine the LSF without her presence.
