Last month I was rummaging about in the LSF basement when I noticed a couple of loose floorboards. On lifting them up I discovered a tunnel had been dug underneath which led from the confines of the LSF to the great world beyond. Normally members of staff are kept pretty much incarcerated within the building but it seems that one of them had managed to escape. Examining the tunnel further I discovered a trail of empty crisp packets until eventually the trail went cold. Today, however, we received a postcard from Her Pinkness saying she had escaped into the wild and wouldn't be returning.

We'd like to thank her for all her help in running the LSF over the last 4 years or so. Along with Linda she was part of the staff at a time when we were faced with loading a huge backlog of material to the site. And, in addition, we made various changes to the validation information we present for each submission that necessitated a vast amount of effort in retrospectively adding the new data items. However, she is now busy studying again and really needs to focus on her courses so participation on the LSF is not really practical. We can't really complain as during her time she completed over 7,000 validations! We're sorry to see her go and wish her the very best for the future.

I shall miss flirting with her terribly. So sad to see her leave, but I wish her luck in her future.

Wishing Pink the very best! The site wouldn't be the same without her tireless efforts. I will miss her, as I'm sure we all will.

I'll miss Pink. I hope she can fly in for the occasional visit. Read a few stories, leave the odd comment or two.
