New Author - Storm

Maybe I'm not very good at advertising them? I've posted to s.s.s. way, way back when, but none of these newer stories. The blog's been up about a year now, and these are all new in the past 12 months or so. Most of my older work has been lost, unfortunately.

I'm really glad that you're enjoying them. Character development is my bread and butter. I can deal with a story not being excellent if the characters are, and that's how I write!

What shames me is that I did proofread and edit these. I need to go over my new series before they get loaded, because I made some big mistakes with the FF stories. Like Lizzie's hair color changes to brown at some point. Oops! I had made a similar mistake with the Nery Legacy but I corrected it before I hit publish.

Wouldn't surprise me - i know women whose hair color changes frequently.

Well Lizzie's only 10. And I'm pretty sure nobody allowed her to dye her hair

Don't worry too much about errors, they will be sorted on validation and a meeting with Miss Thrashbottom is never that bad, honest we mostly just use her to threaten the likes of Rick and Blimp with!

Well, I've heard rumors that 'Miss T' is somewhat of a female chauvinist and goes extremely easy on feminine authors RE mistakes in technique, spelling and punctuation, not to mention discrepancies in story content.

With males, though, it's "Drop those drawers and bend over, you careless young man, it's two cane strokes for every error...Now let's look at my proofreading list for your story."

I'm not sure that the major errors in editing will be found during validation. The FF stories do need quite a bit of proofing, hopefully the Nery Legacy doesn't, but I'm more worried about errors in the editing process. If I'm going to keep these going for so long I need to be using character bios. I have them now, but I didn't back then
