There seemed to be an inner circle of authors who commented on each others work,
Well, EVERYONE, karoicanada, is welcome to join the inner circle here...

The more the merrier!!! The LSF is a very friendly and supportive place to be for both readers and writes alike... even for the shy ones amongst us.
And BRAVO Rick for what you shared, very cleverly and metaphorically, earlier on this forum. I wholeheartedly agree.
I must confess

I started out here being a shy reader who was afraid to comment (a combo of hiding in the closet and not sure of what to say that wasn't generic or hadn't already been said).. However, I soon came to realise how wonderful, supportive and friendly the LSF is when one takes the opportunity to post feedback and now I comment on almost everything I read.... (and really it doesn't have to be anything profound..just a matter of saying what you liked about a story/ character and perhaps why you liked it..(it doesn't even have to be about the spanking part itself... maybe the emotions conveyed, the romantic tension, the humour.. the grumpy/petulant/strong character etc that you liked)... So... commenting doesn't have to be that scary at all, when you think about it)... And an author myself now, I realise how much receiving a comment means and is appreciated by all authors alike. If everyone free-loaded here, this wouldn't be the wonderful, supportive and friendly place that it is now. So my advice to all those shy commenters, who have got themselves into the habit of hiding in the shadows, is to give commenting a go, before you shy away from it entirely and experience the support and friendliness this site has to give!!
